24.01.2022 Brushing, Brushing.... Growing, Growing Granted it is not the greatest tooth clean of the century but I'm so grateful to have captured this special stage in her life where she is exploring her independence and where brushing her teeth is kind of a HUGE deal! These are the ones I want too remember.

23.01.2022 A blanket is about as far as I will go as a prop for a motherhood session. The rest of the time it is about you showering your baby with all the love.

21.01.2022 One day Louis bear, may you look at this photo and not only see how much you were loved but feel it too. Thank you @antskeenan For trusting me to capture you again. A little sneak peek (cropped for Instagram) A photo shoot can seem like a lot to organise, so you put it off because you don’t quite have the clarity or mental capacity to think about a photo session in this season of life. (#mumbrain) Or you put it off because *it’s too hot, it’s too cold, *i haven’t got my body ...back *when we finish the Reno *when we finish our family *my kids won’t behave *i don’t have time and so on and so on. The loop continues in your head, making you feel guilty for not having any photos...eventually you are paralysed by inaction and another year drifts by. I want to tell you that it is not too late and now is better than never. You are perfect and whole as you are and you deserve to be seen. You deserve to be celebrated and you deserve to have this beautiful experience with your loved ones. Grab a friend and swap or book with a photographer. Either way get in that frame mum! It will mean the world to your children x #existinphotos #byronbayphotographer

20.01.2022 Another year around the sun More grey hairs, more wrinkles, more memory lapses, more inappropriate comments, more cups of tea, more coffee, more alive, more love, more myself and more grateful for the wonderful people in my life than ever before And this little one has been the biggest teacher of all

11.01.2022 Ordinary moments Slowly fade to dust With only time begging us To feel our breath enter and to open our eyes... 10.01.2022 We woke up this morning to magical windows

09.01.2022 When I photograph families, I look to create images which reflect connection, personality or an emotion. You should be able to feel the photo rather than just see it. This is why in most of my photos I get my families to look at one another rather than at the camera so you can be transported to a fleeting moment in time.

01.01.2022 Want to read what it feels like to have a photo session. Read this testimonial from @kellymuller. Photo shoots have always made me feel uncomfortable; I’m not a natural in front of the camera and I get anxious at the thought of someone else choosing an image of me that they think looks good. But Bridget had a way of making me feel safe - and she could clearly see something that I couldn’t see. I trusted her despite feeling way, way out of my comfort zone. She thanked me afte...rwards for being so vulnerable - which wasn’t a feeling I associated with at the time, but now realise that’s exactly how I felt. The photos are nothing I imagined and everything I hoped for. They are exactly what being a mother means to me - being courageous and vulnerable all at the same time. Thank you Bridget Wood Photography, I will treasure these photos with my second born foreverSo often it’s the mums behind the lens and we make up excuses as to why we shouldn’t be in the pics. I look tired; I want to lose weight; I’m not feeling my best.and the list goes on. @bridgetwoodphotography is on a mission for mothers to exists in photographs with our children and even though I felt some of those very feelings, I’m SO glad I did this shoot and so grateful for these memories. Thank you Kel x See more
