25.01.2022 The bad news - the 2021 Bridgy Tri is cancelled.... The good news - we will be back bigger and stronger in 2022! How do we know? 10yrs ago our town was under w...ater a month out from the Tri and we had to cancel. We had a town to rebuild and a community to heal after a once in a lifetime flood. Thanks to your support, we bounced back and our little event grew and grew! This year well we’re all familiar with corona and the challenges it presents..... But please don’t forget us on your travels in 2021. The Bridgewater community is ready to welcome you back with open arms, when the time is right. We have the BEST vanilla slice, the BEST beer garden and well your all familiar with our gorgeous river! To our fellow Victorians and especially our metro regulars we are thinking of you! We will be removing our indoor seating and providing our products for takeaway only. We unfortunately will no longer accept keep cups or customers own packaging and encourage all our customers to utilise our tap n go eftpos machines. 20.01.2022 Despite COVID restrictions easing across Victoria tomorrow, we have decided to continue serving TAKEAWAY ONLY. This means our tables and seating will be closed until further notice. Please also note that we are still restricted to 7 people in the shop front and appreciate your support with this. Thanks again for all your support and understanding during these times, we hope to be back at full capacity very very soon.

04.01.2022 Thank you to all our customers who have adhered to the Government’s directions regarding social distancing when visiting our bakery. We appreciate everyone’s understanding that this policy and direction is from the Chief Medical Officer and the Australian Government and unfortunately has to be enforced by us and our staff. Recently we have had some issues regarding lining up outside and longer wait times and fighting between customers waiting to be served which has resulted in my staff receiving unnecessary comments and abuse either in person or later via the phone. Please be advised that this behaviour will not be tolerated and if necessary will be referred to the Vic Police. We are only following the rules to keep our valued customers and amazing staff safe from COVID-19. Thank you
