03.01.2022 Social Prescribing essentially means connecting people. Its about community gardening as a way to maintain good mental health, or reduce anxiety for example. ...Okay its more than that, but its what we do in Neighbourhood Houses. "The Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association (ANHCA) is currently advocating for greater recognition and funding for social prescribing programs within the Neighbourhood Houses and Centre sector and for the kinds of activities, such as those listed above, that Neighbourhood Houses and Centres already provide that deliver positive health outcomes." ANCHA are looking for our help to understand how much social prescribing is happening in Neighbourhood Houses. Its a 2 minute survey https://survey.alchemer.com//Social-Prescribing-connecting
