18.01.2022 This, I love. Cuddle time and reading time as we lead up to Christmas.

15.01.2022 Paintyi-illa Ngangkiparri- Bridgewater Kindergarten's Bushland. On Sunday 25th October, we officially "opened" our bushland, inviting the Bridgewater Community to come and engage in it. Kindy Director Glenda Henderson has created signs identifying plants, showing the creatures who use the plants and some of the Aboriginal uses for them. Other signs encourage people to consider different aspects of the bushland, engaging closely with the natural environment. Children and famil...ies in recent years have been involved in planting, weed eradication and other jobs restoring the bushland. Dan Johnston one of our 2020 parents has volunteered many hours throughout the year installing the signs and helping to create spaces ensuring that native vegetation is protected. Dan also built our newly installed Street Library, sharing literacy with the community. Inspiring SA and NRM supported these projects through funding grants. Thankyou to our Governing Council who organised this day. With the challenges that COVID -19 presented this year, we decided not to use this as a fundraising day, but instead a family fun day. It was wonderful to see families enjoying this time together. See more

13.01.2022 Looks like fun on a nice Spring day!

12.01.2022 As Spring arrives we love to watch the changes in our Bushland. Many of the orchid species are in bloom and other plants are flowering. There have been other changes this Spring, paths, signs and more. Great to get outside and play in the warmth this week.

03.01.2022 Now this is useful information.

01.01.2022 WIGLEY RESERVE PLAYGROUND IS OPEN! We headed straight down to Glenelg over the weekend to check out this long awaited playground opening and we were not disa...ppointed (you may have seen some pics and video from our visit over on our insta!) It really is quite a stunning development, highlighted by the massive shaded arch which kids of all ages can climb up and explore, before flying down the tube slide to the nature playspace and other equipment below. With equipment and facilities to cater to all ages, this will be a huge favourite for years to come and we can't wait to go back! We took a million beautiful photos from our visit which we have put on our site, so click the link to take a look and plan your visit! https://kidsinadelaide.com.au/wigley-reserve-playground/ City of Holdfast Bay
