17.01.2022 A big "Thank You" from the children from Bridgewater Kindergarten to the Bridgewater Uniting Church for inviting us to be part of your Yarn Bombing project. We had a wonderful time at Kindy learning to use some Whittling tools so we could create happy faces on the sticks, then wound all our favourite coloured wool around them. The best part was calling into the church on Thursday morning, meeting Sharon and 'planting' our happy face sticks in your garden. We were very excited as we explored all the beautiful pieces and gorgeous animals etc before heading off to Kindy. Ps. lots of our mums recognised Sharon from Playgroup days!

01.01.2022 This morning young Sophie hijacked the children's talk on The Beatitudes to tell us about the Tricky Words she's learning at school. She did a wonderful job .. sharing that she is up to the brown words - and her tricky word is "upon" .... bonus points to Cathy who managed to weave "upon" into her closing prayer - asking for blessings UPON the children. What a wonderful illustration of what it means to be church ... a congregation willing to listen, a young child willing to share .. and a leader willing to give the space for it to happen.
