19.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week NAIDOC stands for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee. Its origins can be traced to the emergence of Aboriginal groups in the 1920s which sought to increase awareness in the wider community of the status and treatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. 2020 Theme Always Was, Always Will Be. Always Was, Always Will Be recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

15.01.2022 Free online career service myfuture is a national service that provides resources and tools to help all age groups, including students and parents explore career options and occupations of interest. Parents Victoria will run a webinar for parents and carers on Tuesday 24 November to demonstrate the free career planning tools available on the myfuture website. myfuture is Australia’s National Career Information Service, managed by Education Services Australia.... The government-funded resource is designed for use by students, teachers, career practitioners, parents and carers. Research indicates that parents are the single greatest influence on their child’s education and career decisions. High parental engagement can have a major impact on the young person’s learning. myfuture is a free online career service that provides resources and tools to help all age groups, including students and parents explore career options and occupations of interest. Parents and carers are invited to join an upcoming webinar that will demonstrate the free career planning tools available on the myfuture website. 07.01.2022 This coming Friday 13th November is school photo day and all students are required to be in formal school uniform. Those students that normally wear sport uniform on Fridays are to wear formal uniform and can bring their runners to put on for their Sport session. NO SPORT UNIFORM is to be worn.
