Bridging Us is developing a new model - BridgeCon - a public conference where teams of young people are introduced to an organisation and the problem they are facing, and then pitch their solution(s) - similar to a case competition! The winning team will then get a paid opportunity to work directly with the organisation and implement their solutions(s). ... BridgeVoice BridgeVoice is our new initiative which we invite youth leaders and entrepreneurs to speak about their experience and give advice to young people who wish to pursue a career in related fields. For our first episode, we invited Amy Leong to speak about her experience as a CEO at CHASE \ Community Health Advancement and Student Engagement Founded in 2013, CHASE is an innovative not-for-profit organisation which improves he...alth literacy amongst disadvantaged students through education and mentoring. Amy is a physiotherapist who is passionate about healthcare innovation and reducing inequality. She has demonstrated initiative and leadership through a variety of quality improvement initiatives at Epworth healthcare and Eastern Health. She is currently the CEO at CHASE, and is committed to providing a volunteer experience that both benefits the volunteer and the communities in which CHASE works. Check out the video now! h

02.01.2022 Thank you Just BU Panels for having us as Monday Mentors for this week Bridging Us began in March 2020 right when COVID-19 was ramping up. As fresh graduates, founders Imana Sabrina and Ali Noura couldn’t find work and though lockdown was just beginning, they decided to start Bridging Us because they felt that they just had to do something to change the situation for young people and had no more options left. ... Now as the year has come to an end, the Bridging Us team looks back with immense gratitude for all the champions who’ve helped us along the way and the great work done with helping clients better connect with young people - not bad for a COVID-19 start-up! 2021 will be a big year for Bridging Us, with 2 new programs on the cards - BridgeCon & BridgeAcademy.
