In case you missed it, you may be eligible for one-off COVID support payments as announced by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. If you are required to self-isolate due to coronavirus and miss out on paid you can apply for the following supports:... A one-off $300 payment for Victorian workers who are required to self-isolate while they wait for the results of their coronavirus test. A one-off $1500 payment to support Victorian workers who have been told to self-isolate at home because they have either been diagnosed with coronavirus, are a close contact of a confirmed case or their child is. 06.01.2022 Ever wanted a little insight into Youth Support work? The Centre for excellence in Child and Family Welfare recently received the results of its annual Care to Listen? Survey. The survey directly engaged with Victorian Residential Care workers to get feedback on the nature of their work. When asked about times they remembered helping a young person in a residential care home, this was one of the responses. Working with a great team to provide warmth, encouragement, suppor...t, structure, empathy and consistency to the young people in our care leading them to a positive future. 06.01.2022 From 11:59pm on Wednesday 22 July, people who live in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire will be required to wear a face covering when leaving home for one of the four permitted reasons. There are exceptions to the rule, including for those with medical exemptions and those under 12 years of age. Not sure where to start?
