The 1.5 k... and 500 m swims offer opportunities for the whole family to get a taste of ocean swimming. No doubt the elite swimmers will also be on the line to gain some early points in the series. This season, in addition to regular Sunday Nippers sessions, we will be holding after school training sessions on a Thursday during school term, as well as Friday twilight Nippers throughout January. 02.01.2022 What a great weekend at the club. Saturday saw 11 new bronzies and 4 SRCs complete the practical component of their training. We are looking forward to patrolling with these soon to be qualified legends. Sunday saw our surf sports team getting some fitness done and enjoying some rare waves off Goftons Beach. A big Thanks to everyone who helped out at the club this weekend . An extra big shout out to Travis Dawe who gave up his weekend to train bronzies and coach 2 sessions of surf sports! Thanks Trav

Never have those words been so true after one of the Nutri-Grain IronMan / IronWoman Series hopefuls chose to abandon he...r race to help a fellow competitor during the IronWoman Series trial in Kingscliff yesterday. Ella Brown from Maroochydore demonstrated how rescue ready the IronWomen and IronMen are, stopping mid-race when she saw fellow competitor Lilly O’Sullivan in trouble.
