23.01.2022 Here is a secret It's all about routine and using your time proactively! On a Saturday morning I instruct a 30 minute class in North Perth at 7:30am. I then coach kids sports in Mt Lawely at 8:45am. So I have 45 minutes to spare with only a 5 minute drive. Here I have two choices on how to fill the time. I could sit in the car scrolling on social media OR I could go for a 30 minute walk around the local park. What would you choose? ... This is called 'incidental activity' (meaning unstructured physical activity) and it makes up a proportion of your physical activity each week. Have a think about how you could add additional incidental activity into your week. Walk to the train station instead of driving, park further away at the shops, go for a walk around the block in your lunch break, take the stairs in the office instead of the lift. I'm here every week, even on on gloomy days. By 11am I've reached 10,000 steps and feel super productive! It all counts

09.01.2022 THANK YOU - 'used to tell someone that you are grateful because they have given you something' After the Pop-Up class, Class Launch & R U OK Fundraiser and first week of regular classes, I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the lovely ladies who have attended classes Last year I made the decision to give up a class I was running in Eden Hill after struggling with attendance. I was heartbroken that I had to make that decision after 3 years of hard work and was real...ly unsure about how the future looked for me in terms of running my own classes. I ummed and ahhed about taking the risk again but after hearing the interest for Jungle Body classes in Ellenbrook, I decided to have faith and made the decision to try again ELLENBROOK TRIBE, you have brought a special joy back into my life and make me excited about watching these classes grow! It's been fantastic meeting so many new ladies and although I can't remember everyone's names at this early stage (I promise I'll get there), I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing you on a weekly basis.
