14.01.2022 State school students will be learning from home for the first five weeks of Term 2 (20 April 2020 until at least 22 May 2020) in an effort to slow the spread o...f COVID-19. A decision about the remainder of Term 2 to be made by mid-May. For children of essential workers or vulnerable children, schools are open with supervision so they can participate in learning activities set by their regular teachers during this period. 02.01.2022 In an Australian first, we’ve teamed up with 7NEWS Brisbane to broadcast educational programs to students at home through ‘learning@home TV’ Not only is it a ...creative & different way for children to learn, but the programs will reach communities that have connectivity issues. Here’s how it’ll work: Programs will air from 8.30am - 10.30am on Monday, Wednesday & Friday on 7TWO Episodes will be divided up into Kindy-Year 2, Year 3-4 & Year 5-6 There’ll be a focus on Maths, Science, English, Art & PE Lessons will be aligned with the Australian Curriculum Qld teachers will deliver lessons along with well-known personalities including Olympians Programs will be hosted by Oliver Degn (early primary), Luke Kennedy (middle primary) & Victoria Carthew (upper primary) Episodes will start soon!
