25.01.2022 If you get your Family Tax Benefit (FTB), you may be eligible for the second $750 Economic Support Payment. However, it’s important to know if you’re getting th...e Coronavirus Supplement, you won’t get the second $750 Economic Support Payment. When you get the 2nd Economic Support Payment depends how you get Family Tax Benefit. Fortnightly payments - you’ll get the Economic Support Payment from 15 July onwards. ZERO RATE - If you’re current on FTB and you have chosen to be paid after the end of the financial year, you’ll get the Economic Support Payment from 15 July onwards. You’ll know if you’ve chosen this option by checking your future payments - if FTB is showing as '$0' you're getting a zero rate. CLAIM EACH YEAR - If you need to lodge a claim for FTB as a lump sum after the end of the 2020-21 financial year, you’ll get the payment after confirming your income and submitting your claim. 07.01.2022 We know it’s sometimes not easy to provide an up-to-date income estimate for your family payments. Things change and it’s not always straightforward. Here are a... couple of things to consider when updating your 2020-21 family income estimate. Taxable payments including JobSeeker Payment, Parenting Payment and Coronavirus Supplement need to be included in your family income estimate. If you get JobKeeper Payment from your employer, you also need to include it in your income estimate. The Economic Support Payment is a non-taxable payment, so you don’t need to include it in your estimate.
