24.01.2022 Thank-you to everyone for your patience and understanding throughout the past week. The nearby bushfires continue to burn and our town is still under a 'Watch ...and Act' emergency alert. Whilst we have receive some recent rain the weather temperatures are predicted to heat back up again later in the week, with the threat to our region not yet passed. In the meantime, Bright and much of the High Country is blanketed in heavy smoke which is severely impacting air quality and our day-to-day lives. Bright’s air quality is at a hazardous level, as per the EPA web site. It is for this reason I have chosen to remain closed and away from town, for the safety of myself and family. I am not willing to put any guests at risk of the fires nor the current smoke conditions. It is still an extremely busy time and I will endeavour to get some sort of confirmation to you as soon as I can. Once again thank-you for your patience and understanding on this devastating matter.
