The childcare sector was hit really hard during the COVID-19 crisis and weve operated under federal government emergency circumstances to keep our doors open for our essential workers. While the business experiences temporary financial hardship, our families have surprised us with random acts of kindness. 08.01.2022 DINOSAURS COME ALIVE This week, the childrens imagination was ignited when they received a letter in the mail. It was special glitter with magic powers to bring their dinosaur box to life. They sprinkled the glitter around their Dino box and went outside to play, in anticipation of what would happen when they came inside for lunch. They were pleasantly surprised as they returned to find the magic had worked, the Dinos had come alive and were working hard on the constructi...on equipment. On Wednesday they got creative with the paint and even went for a swim in the fish tank. They got a bit hungry and cooked some delicious banana bread while the children were resting. On Thursday they got messy with some crazy science experiences and erruptions and on Friday they bid farewell with a delicious lunch and party to say goodbye to the children It was amazing to hear the conversations between the children as they hypothesised what the Dinosaurs could be doing while they play outside each morning. Not only did we get to pat each of the reptiles but the children were able to broaden their understanding of the world in which they live, learning all about the many wonderful creatures that live in our world
