25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We would just like to thank you all for your support and patience as we implement our new drop off and pick up procedures. We have made the decision at this point in time to close the driveway. This is to ensure we can maintain Social Distancing throughout the drop off and pick up periods. Parking will be available directly in front of the centre to assist in making the process quicker for you. Thank you!

23.01.2022 Today our Preschool children went on an excursion to the Return and Earn Station in Forbes. As part of our sustainability project the children have been learning about compost, worms and recycling. They have been collecting plastic bottles from families and today we took them out to recycle. The children loved having a turn putting their bottles in the machine. We are excited to now use the money from recycling our bottles to purchase some new worms for our worm farm. This has been a great opportunity for our children to learn about sustainable practices and the impact their actions can have on our environment. Check out our pics!

22.01.2022 We are requiring a cleaner who would be willing to clean at the service for approx 12 hours per week. If you are interested or know of someone who is please get in touch with us here at Bright Beginnings

21.01.2022 Having secure relationships with others allows children to build trust and confidence within their environment. Our dedicated educators provide a variety of opportunities that supports children to achieve this outcome. #securereciprocalrelationships #playtolearn #weallbelong

21.01.2022 The Rainbow Children have been enjoying Science Week as they work on their colour mixing skills. They each had a turn using their fine motor and hand eye coordination skills to select coloured water with the droppers and add to their paper towel. As they add different colours they embrace their skills in experimentation exploring how different colours mix together. Well Done Rainbows

18.01.2022 Bright Beginnings is a locally owned and run Long Day Care and Preschool, who's main focus is the children in our care, and their families. Being locals ourselves, we know the community, and are in a great position to ensure that the service we offer meets the unique and individual needs of our families.

18.01.2022 Last week at BB the older children ventured on a walking excursion to get out and about. They enjoyed a lovely walk around our local area nearby the centre observing local transport modes, collecting nature items and learning about road safety. The children loved participating as they practiced looking both ways before crossing the road and took particular interest in the walking through the tree with the long dangly leaves.

Hannah will be visiting us each Thursday over the next few weeks to help develop our children's musical appreciation and support many aspects of their growth and development.

15.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets in our Christmas raffle last year. Because of your kindness we were able to make a generous donation to the organisation Boys To The Bush. Today Jared popped in to collect the donation and to tell us a little bit more about the work they are doing to support troubled youth build better futures. We think it’s such a worthwhile cause and we were very excited to be able to assist in this small way. If anyone is considering sponsoring or supporting a charity, this one is definitely worth considering. Well done and thank you to you all, you are doing an amazing job! #boystothebush

14.01.2022 Last week our preschool children spent some time working on developing their core strength. During our music and movement group time they joined in an activity where they used their feet to pick up and move small plastic balls from one tub to another. This allowed the children the opportunity to explore and develop strength in their abdomen, pelvis and back muscles as they lift their legs and rotate their bodies while maintaining balance.

14.01.2022 Reminder! Red Nose Day is TOMORROW

05.01.2022 Science Week is not just for the big kids!!! Check out our blossom children. This week they have made some coloured goop to explore their sensory skills. They also conducted an awesome volcano experiment developing simple science concepts such as cause and effect! As educators add vinegar the blossom children observed the volcano erupting! Check it out!

05.01.2022 Dont forget our Fathers Day Grab and Go Morning Tea is tomorrow! Due to the current change in procedures it will now be set up outside the front gate in the driveway. We would love all our amazing BB dads to grab a special treat to take with them in the morning

05.01.2022 Check out our youngest BB children cooking up a storm as they make their own weetbix slice! Through providing hands on learning experiences such as this, educators are able to use intentional teaching practices to demonstrate healthy eating habits. The children are also able to explore their hand-eye coordination skills as they practice mixing and pouring. Lets not forget the most important aspect! Exploring their sense of taste at afternoon tea time #earlylearningmatters

04.01.2022 Did you know that building secure attachments with babies is critical in supporting their social and emotional development? That’s why at Bright Beginnings ELC we work above the required Educator to Child ratio in order to allow our educators more time to spend building these essential attachments. Our Blossom room caters for children aged 0-2 years old as we strongly believe in providing all children with the chance to engage in peer learning, and by giving them the opportun...ity to be part of a diverse group, supports them to become more accepting of others. As children all develop at their own pace, mixed age grouping allows younger babies to learn from their older counterparts and encourages older children to develop empathy and respect for younger babies. This also is important to support children’s ongoing social and emotional development preparing them well for the future. See more

04.01.2022 Earlier this week all our children participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Our Blossom Room helped educators collect rubbish from just outside our building, whilst the Rainbow and Preschool children ventured along Attlee, Edward and Churchill Streets to help clean up our local area. Participating in community events such as this helps our children to become connected with and contribute to their world whilst encouraging them to become environmentally responsible.

03.01.2022 Today some of our older children went on an excursion to the Lake Forbes Water Park. They were very excited to travel by bus and enjoyed a picnic morning tea along with some group games and water play. These excursions encourage our children to build relationships and engage with our community and allows them to explore the world around them whilst being supported by our wonderful educators.

03.01.2022 A Big Happy Fathers Day to all our awesome Bright Beginnings Dads! We hope you all have an amazing day celebrating

02.01.2022 Who says science is boring? #stem #learningthroughplay #weallbelong

01.01.2022 The Preschool Children also jumped in on the science week action conducting their own floating and sinking experiment. The children each selected items from around the room to predict and test what the result would be when they placed them in water. This was a great opportunity for the children to develop their skills in prediction as well as learning how to investigate and explore ideas through experimentation while exploring the concept of buoyancy. Well Done Preschoolers!
