24.01.2022 Some people might have deep fissures which makes it difficult to clean food debris and bacteria out off with the tooth brush. This often leads to painful cavities in the teeth. The preventive measure to that are fissure sealants which are resins that flow into the deep fissures and seals it upon light curing. They also contain fluoride which slows down the growth of any bacteria underneath and mineralises the enamel it is bonded to.
