23.01.2022 COME & HAVE A BEER WITH US // With the easing of restrictions, we are stoked to announce that we are now able to seat 300 people at a time! We can comfortably seat 160 people undercover, so we'll be taking bookings for 160 people at each sitting - and the rest of our seats and tables will be kept free for walk-in customers. ?... 17.01.2022 SORRY YOU COULDN’T GET ON THE BEERS, MR SUTTON // Proving that literally all of Melbourne is in Bright this weekend, we had to turn away the Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, twice today! Pictured here with our long-time bar staffer Wayne, Mr Sutton was a great sport when our staff explained that under his own COVID-restrictions, we unfortunately did not have the space to seat him. ... We’re sorry you couldn’t, in Premier Dan Andrews’ words, Get On The Beers with us, Brett - but we hope to see you again once restrictions ease! 14.01.2022 SUMMER FUN // The sun is shining and our hearts are so full! After the devastation of 2020, it has been so great to see Bright so full of visitors, enjoying our beautiful town, this month. If you've visited Bright during summer, you'll know that this town absolutely pumps from Dec 26 to Jan 26. ... And we've loved welcoming so many of you through our Brewery Door!. We know dining in has been a different experience this year, due to COVID restrictions, but we're so grateful to those of you who are supporting us through this. Last week alone, our kitchen team, led by head chef Alan Davison, pumped out 8644 meals in seven days. That's 2.5 meals every minute leaving the kitchen. Read on for a remarkable story of resilience from our thrillseeker ambassador Samantha Mcmahon "Recently I took a trip to Thredbo, NSW. I’ve never ridden there before and I thought it would be some great prep for the upcoming @transtasmania race I’ve entered in February. "TransTas is a race where everyone rides the trails blind (without riding them before the race run). It will be my first competitive ...race since my crash last year. "Last April, I pretty much broke myself. A day on @mysticmtb that went wrong and I ended up with 11 broken bones between my ribs, sternum and spine, a grade 5 separation of my shoulder joint and a punctured and collapsed left lung. After 6 months of recovery and being religous with my physio, I got back on my bike and started to get my confidence back. "In the last few weeks, I started to feel great hitting slightly bigger jumps, so great, that I entered a ballot to compete in TransTas. I felt if it was meant to be, my name would get pulled from the ballot. And that's what happened! "Getting back into competitions has been the breaking of what has been a bit of a mental barrier for me during my recovery. I still feel like I’ve got a little way to go but progress always means moving forward. For anyone recovering or nervous to try there sport, just do it!
