21.01.2022 As we are all aware now our treasured member Peter Ryan passed away on Tuesday the 29th of September 2020. Brighton Bowls club will be live streaming the celebration of Peter's life in the special service taking place on Thursday the 8th of October at 10.30am Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we must cap our numbers and we ask if you could please either call the club to place your name on the attendee list or comment on the post below so we can ensure that we remain c...ompliant. We have received a number attendee names already, so spaces are limited and once we reach our full capacity we will not be able to allow additional attendees in. Peter was a dedicated member of the club and loved by all and I know that all of the Brighton Bowls Club members and associates that knew him are thinking of his family at this sad time. 05.01.2022 Celebration of Peter Ryans life...... Notice from his Family For those of you that have not been informed, Peter Ryan passed away on Tuesday the 29th of September. His immediate family will be celebrating his life on Thursday the 8th of October at 10.30am. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to give Peter the traditional send off he truly deserves at this time. We would like for you to join us for the service via live stream at either the Brighton Bow...ls Club, the Aspley Hornets or in the comfort of your own home via the link at the bottom of this post. Both venues have a maximum capacity of 50 people. If everyone could please comment on the post as to where you will be watching so we can gauge if more space will be required, that would be appreciated. We are very aware that Peter knew a whole lot more people then that, all of whom would all love to pay their respects. If by chance the venue capacity is reached and you can not attend one of the organised establishments, then we strongly encourage you all to talk amongst yourselves and organise a get together to watch the service and celebrate the moments you shared with Peter. Please ensure you are aware of the current COVID safe guidelines and again, feel free to use this post to inform people if it's an open invitation. The Ryan family thank each and everyone of you for your condolences, well wishes and prayers in this time, and ask you to respect the organisers at the venues in regards to their COVID safe plan. It's a crock but we all have to do it... at least we can stand up now As the restrictions ease, the Brighton Bowls Club will be organising a memorial day for Biscuit, and we will make sure it is every bit the send off he deserves.
