25.01.2022 So I woke up this morning with a headache and thoughts of past friends and friendships and trying to work out how and/or why they ended. I know that we need to move on at times and I guess it meant they were no longer needed in my life, but it still felt like someone had ripped my heart out and trampled all over it. Some days I still wonder what I did wrong and then I realize that maybe it wasn't me at all. They were decisions they made to no longer have me in their lives. Whatever the reasons I hope it was worth it for them. Take care and be safe. J

23.01.2022 I'm sorry I have been quiet for a while. I have been working from home and trying to complete assignments. I was reading some articles last night that really were too close to home. Most were about the statistics and repartnering after a relationship break down. The stats are that men will most likely remarry within 3 years. The women who generally have the children for the majority of the time take longer to repartner, if they do at all. Dare I say I thought back over my situation and realised I've gone past most of the possible deadlines. This realisation has left me with mixed feelings. Some confusion and some sadness. Yet, we continue to do what we need to do. Take care and be safe. J

21.01.2022 Just heard this song for the first time. The lyrics are pretty powerful. Hope you get something from this and please remember I am here for you. Take care and be safe. J

21.01.2022 We tend to be the harshest to ourselves. When things don't go right regardless of whether it was our fault or someone else's. We say not so nice things to ourselves. Like 'what an idiot', 'dufus', 'moron' to name a few and they are the kinder things. Why are we more horrible to ourselves then we are to other people? This isn't very good. Others will do their best to rip ua to shreds so we need to be kinder to ourselves. Ok I messed up. Not the end of the world. I'll do better. Learning from what we didn't do so well. Don't let anyone talk to you the way you normally would. Take care of you. Takes care and be safe. J

17.01.2022 Self-loathing, self-hatred ate generally brought in by the things that people tell us repeatedly. So that we believe what we are being told. You are the problem. You caused this. You aren't good enough. You'll never be good enough etc etc. Other people's words lead us to a place where we see ourselves differently and believe we are the biggest failures on this earth. So we hate ourselves and wish bad things on ourselves because we are hopeless, useless and a waste of space.... We don't have a place here, nobody wants me, I'll never be good enough. Words which have been heard and felt too often. So what would happen if we chose to not take on this negativity from other people? If we chose to be kinder to ourselves and not shoulder all of the garbage that people have placed on us? More accepting of the person you are? If someone said, you do belong here. You are worth my time. You are cared about. Would this change how you feel about yourself and how you speak to yourself? You are worth my time. You are amazing. You matter. I care. You are a good person. I am here for you. Take care and be safe. J See more

17.01.2022 It is easy to not think of ourselves as important. It has probably been implied or said repeatedly over time. What isn't mentioned is that it is really important for us to remember that we are important. We matter and we need to come first especially with ourselves. It is only then that we can be our best selves, both with ourselves and with others. Take care and be safe. J

15.01.2022 CW: Suicide Tomorrow is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay. As well as shining a light on suicide prevention, we wanted to remind you of the resources and support avail...able to us when we're struggling. One such resource we're really proud of is 'You Are Not Alone'. This online channel can help you through, if you're caring for someone who has attempted suicide, or is at risk of doing so. Do you care about someone who has tried to take their own life? Head to sane.org/you-are-not-alone where you can learn how to look after them and yourself.

15.01.2022 I really like this. It flows the idea behind the semi colon. That this is just a moment in time. It doesn't determine who you are or where you are going. What has happened up until now makes you the person that you are, but that is only the beginning of your story. You have so much more to say and to offer. So write your story, one page at a time and make those pages important to you so that they show how much you matter and shine as bright as you can. Keep bringing your story forward, keep adding to it. You are awesome!!!! Let everyone else see that. Be true to yourself. Take care and be safe. J

15.01.2022 Hi all. If you would like to contact me use the number listed for me through WhatsApp and I'll respond as soon as I can. J

14.01.2022 And after my earlier post I came across this

14.01.2022 Today was R U ok day? A day where we are encouraged to check on friends, family and work colleagues to make sure they are ok. Whilst this is a good thing I would like to take this opportunity to say, that it is ok, if you aren't ok. It is ok to take your time to deal with whatever you are trying to deal with. It is also ok to ask for help when you need it. I am here for you. Take care and be safe. J

13.01.2022 I think as a race we tend to let a number of things hold us back from achieving what we desire most. This is why - it's a matter of perspective. Which do you subscribe to? Has it served your purpose in the past? If the answer is no, then it might be time to try the other option. Take care and be safe. J

11.01.2022 Those days when you are struggling it is easy to let what is happening in your head take over, how you feel and what you do. This may happen after having a stressful day of not getting enough sleep. Just remember above all else - you are awesome!!! Take care and be safe. J

07.01.2022 This rather concerning and disturbing. https://www.facebook.com/1501269476814008/posts/2764484867159123/

06.01.2022 I am so sorry for my absence. My account was hacked and then I was locked out of it. Hope you are all ok. J

06.01.2022 The challenges that face us. Whether it be a new job, new neighbours or learning a new task, sometimes this can seem so overwhelming. You feel like you will never make it to the top, but you keep battling on and keep climbing and keep doing your best. It may take a while, but every step gets you closer to your goal. Eventually you reach the top of the mountain to see your reward for not giving up on yourself. The incredible views in all directions. So beautiful they take your breath away.

06.01.2022 If only this message was able to travel and educate people, we would be living in a kinder and more accepting world.

05.01.2022 I was having a conversation earlier and found myself feeling disappointed with me. The reasons for this was I was talking about people and topics that do not make me feel happy. The topics and the people saddens me. Through the way they hurt people, supposedly those they loved. Those who choose their delusions rather than their reality. It seems more a few steps forward and a step back, but as long as you keep moving forward, that's all that matters. Take care and be safe. J

05.01.2022 After having some not so pleasant things happen today, sometimes it doesn't hurt to have some reminders of how hard you have worked to get to where you are today. Just stand strong. Take care and be safe. J

05.01.2022 I have just posted a couple of blog items on the website. If you're interested please have a look. I will try to do better than my daily posts on here. I realise I have fallen so far behind, I am not certain if I could catch them all up and be able to provide something meaningful in each post, so I won't try. I will just keep posting the things that I feel have some meaning, but above all, I mean this - I am here for you. Please reach out to me if you need help or someone to listen. You are pretty amazing. Take care and be safe. J
