05.01.2022 We are open! Well done everyone, we are officially essential and therefore can remain open to take care of your furkids We are very privileged to be able to continue to provide veterinary care for the pets and wildlife in our area and therefore have changed our protocols to adhere to Government Guidlines. Our friendly nurses will run you through the new protocols when you call, and they are outlined below. We have temporarily paused routine appointments, surgeries and... procedures. This includes the following - Vaccinations (exceptions apply), Nail Clips, Desexing. This is being reviewed constantly and we will lift this restriction as soon as it is appropriate to do so. This is to ensure we have enough time available in the day to see unwell patients and do our bit to take the strain off of medical supplies in demand. We are operating as contactless as possible! We encourage you to call us to make an appointment and also if you wish to pick up food, medication or over-the-counter treatments. The nurses will bring any food, medication out to you. You will not be able to enter the clinic. For appointments with the vet, you may book in as normal, however we will be performing the consultation remotely. When you arrive please call the clinic from the car and a vet will have a chat with you over the phone about your pet. A nurse will then come to you in appropriate PPE to collect your animal from you for the vet to examine. The vet will call you again and discuss a plan, if needed. A nurse will return your pet to you along with any medication prescribed and to settle your account. Please respect your fellow fur-parents and follow Government Guidelines with regards to Social Distancing when in the carpark or outside the clinic. Please respect your veterinary team and do not come to the clinic if you are feeling unwell, have been overseas, have been in contact with anyone who has been overseas, or anyone who is in quarantine. Thank you all for your cooperation in this unique time, stay safe! The Brighton Vet Team
