25.01.2022 He wasn’t just a patient of mine. He was like extended family. We would chat for hours as recent as Tuesday. Born in Kenya, we shared a common link and as a young person starting out in the world I would pour all my worries to this gentle man over the last 9 years. He was the holder of stories of my heartbreaks that life had delivered. He himself had been through so much in life but still listened with patience, always humble and I always felt enriched having spent time with ...him. He loved gardening and helped me not just with my pharmacy ‘garden’ but my garden of relationships. He taught me about forgiveness and to keep going no matter what. Thank you for everything you have been to me Peter. I will miss you. You lived a full life and I hope to carry a part of your legacy moving forward. 21.01.2022 DREAMING WITH LOCAL INDIGENOUS ARTIST Today I got to meet a lovely lady called Sharon who resides in Merriwa. Sharon lives with a disability and has been through a lot in her life. As a descendant of the Australian Indigenous people, she finds solace in connecting with her spirit through making Australian Indiegnous and Native American inspired crafts, mainly dream catchers. After our wonderful moment of conversation it didnt take long for her to race home and bring me ba...ck some of her works. I wanted to support her. It is an absolute privilege to support her healing journey and showcase local talent. Her unique artisan dreamcatchers are now available for sale at Brighton Beach Pharmacy! Diet o...r sugar-free soda contains its own acid, which also can damage teeth. Each attack lasts about 20 minutes and starts over with every sip of soda you take. These ongoing acid attacks weaken tooth enamel. How do you drink soda without damaging your teeth? DO *Drink soda in moderation *Use a straw to keep the sugar away from your teeth *Swish your mouth out with water after drinking to dilute the acid and sugar if brushing your teeth is not possible. *Drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day) DONT *Sip for extended periods of time *Drink soda shortly before bedtime *Brush after meals wait at least an hour after your last drink or meal before brushing *Substitute soft drinks, sports drinks or fruit juice for a meal.
