24.01.2022 Tomorrow we will remember all those that have suffered in times of warfare. Tomorrow we will remember that it was the day in 1918 when the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. We will remember the 70 million people who fought in WWI. We will remember those who died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts.... Tomorrow we will remember the animal deeds and sacrifices in war. We will remember the camels, horses, pigeons and dogs that served alongside the troops. Tomorrow is a day of commemoration. #BehindThemAlways, #GetYourPoppy, #LestWeForget, #TwoMinuteSilence 11

01.01.2022 Its the cone of shame payback we needed. Ive never wanted to touch my face more in my life!
01.01.2022 Just an update to all our generous clients wanting to help the injured animals and wildlife on Kangaroo Island. The South Australian Veterinary Emergency Management group(SAVEM) have been tasked with the responsibility of managing wildlife injuries on Kangaroo Island. They have indicated that they have been inundated with veterinary supplies and are at capacity. Those wanting to donate, can do so financially through their website https://www.savem.org.au/ The other charity t...aking a lead role in the KI wildlife welfare is the Minton Farm Animal Rescue Centre (www.mintonfarm.org/). They are still accepting some veterinary supplies for transport to KI both this week and next. Given the fluid nature of their needs, I would encourage those looking to donate to check in with them to ensure those supplies are still needed. Alternatively you can provide a financial donation allowing them to source what is required from local veterinary wholesalers. All the people we have contacted have been overwhelmed with the level of support and we thank everyone for their generosity. We would encourage people to donate more financially to avoid volunteers having to sort thru boxes of supplies best suited elsewhere. Kind regards The BVH team
