Work directly in families to meet their childcare needs Organise your days to suit the children you work with Run your own small business educators are self employed Work the days and hours that suit you (and the families you are caring for) Work with children from birth to end of primary school age To be a Education & Care Educator you need to have the following: Hold a childcare related qualification or be willing to studying towards (minimum Certificate III ECEC) Hold a Working With Children Check Maintain current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification Criminal History Check - National - current or willing to obtain one (less than 6 months old) A childcare building could be made available for suitable applicants.
