25.01.2022 We had another great day playing at Chipmunks playland and cafe. Also when we came back the kids got to paint and decorate the plaster cars mould they did yesterday!

17.01.2022 This week we will be learning about continents ; oceans of the world and Learning about people of the world. Also today I used the Montessori approach continent cards to interest led hands on learning! 2.2.2 Explore the diversity of cultures, heritage, background and tradition and that diversity presents opportunities for choices and new understanding.

15.01.2022 Today we learnt about opposites! Preschoolers love games, and using games to teach opposites is a terrific way for children to learn new vocabulary. First I acted the words and then we used flash cards. Also we had so much fun playing with water beads in soapy water.

08.01.2022 Does it Float or sink? Learning opportunities; 1. Language development using words to express ideas and opinions. 2. Make connection with real life experiences. 3. Hand and eye coordination and control.... 4. Cause and effect. 5. Concentration. The kids had so much fun placing each object in the water and watch it sink or float. We also talked about why some object sank and why others didnt. We discussed weight, size and material the object is made of and how this influence the floating ability. See more

04.01.2022 Hanging out inthe backyard its not just about kicking the ball around. Our backyard is an outdoor classroom, where kids can dig, plant, play and learn all at the same time. Teaching kids to grow their own food is a fun way to educate them about healthy eating and to introduce them to the wonders of nature. So we concluded our day today with the kids got choose the herb or vegetable they like the smell of or even an ingredient in their favourite food to start our very own vegetable and herbs garden!!
