23.01.2022 This has been a learning week for us all making the switch over to Telehealth using our zoom sessions With everything that is currently going on with COVID-19, it is truly amazing that we have access to great technology and resources that allow us to check in with everyone and still be able to provide OT services. It has been so fun meeting all the other family members, siblings, seeing your favourite toys and of course all the family pets ... Thank you greatly for your patience and support through this time as OT services at Bright Therapy continue to evolve

23.01.2022 Last week we celebrated Occupational Therapy Week and World Occupational Therapy Day. OT Week is a celebration of the many ways Occupational Therapists help individuals to reach their pOTential and engage in meaningful activities. Our team of OT’s work with children and young adults of all skill levels to help them become confident and empowered individuals at home, school and in the community. In celebration of Occupational Therapy Week, Bright Therapy celebrated with a colouring in competition. Check out the amazing array of works our clients completed over the last two weeks. Great job everyone!

20.01.2022 Kai has been practising tying his shoelaces within therapy over the last few months and now he can do it all by himself! Learning to tie your shoelaces independently is a big milestone! It is a complex motor task that involves bi-manual coordination, motor planning, sequencing, fine motor strength and dexterity. Well done Kai for achieving your goals! We are so proud of you!

What a rollercoaster it has been, but we are so thankful to our wonderful clients for their continued support of our journey over the last 12 months. In the space of a year, we have welcomed new clients to the Bright Therapy family, have grown our team to three and moved into a new office in the heart of Mooloolaba. 2020 itself has been a challenging year due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but we would like to thank our Brig...ht Therapy family for their patience, understanding and support as we navigate these uncertain times and restrictions. We look forward to providing excellent paediatric occupational therapy services to our clients both now and into the future. So, to our Bright Therapy family THANK YOU!
