11.01.2022 Get ready for Crazy Colour Day on Wednesday November 18. The attached timetable shows approximate times but please note they may vary on the day. Students will be running on the Junior Oval allowing parents to watch the Crazy Colour activities without entering the campus. 10.01.2022 Just 2 weeks to go, time to get ready! It is just 2 short weeks until we welcome our students back for the 2021 school year. As families prepare, it is worth remembering our endorsed school dress code. Our full uniform is available from School Locker at the Maroochy Homemaker centre and online at https://theschoollocker.com.au We also ask that you remember the following, outlined in the Brightwater Parent Handbook, when shopping for shoes and getting that back to school hai...rcut. The Student Dress Code states: Shoes: Students attending this school must wear black (100% black, no other colour-including the sole and shoelaces), polishable leather or vinyl joggers. Shoes that are fully enclosed. Suede or canvas shoes are not acceptable. Hair: All students are to wear their hair in a neat and tidy manner. Hair that is longer than shoulder length is to be tied up neatly in navy, red or white hair band, ribbon or scrunchy. The length of the fringe should not exceed the eyebrows so as not to impede learning or pose a safety risk. Hair is not to be coloured and styles must be conservative.

Our P&C are still looking for volunteers to assist and they mainly need people for sessions 1 & 2 please. People will be selected on a first in best dressed basis. 05.01.2022 Get ready for Crazy Colour Day Tomorrow, November 18. The Year 6, 5 and 4 students will run in the first session from 9:00am, Yr. 3 and 2 in the middle session (11:15am) and Yr 1 and Prep in the afternoon (1:15pm) but please note these times may vary on the day. Children are permitted to come to school in their white shirt and old shoes for the run with a change of clothes and a plastic bag essential for year 2-6 students to change into after their run. ... Students will be running on the Junior Oval allowing parents to watch the Crazy Colour activities without entering the campus. Bring a shady hat and a water bottle.

04.01.2022 Congratulations to our 2020 Premier’s Reading Challenge participants. For an extra celebration, all names went into a draw. Congratulations to our Prep and Year 1 students who received a book prize. Next week our Years 2-6 prize winners will be announced.
