25.01.2022 Sometimes a change of job is not the answer, especially if you soon find your new job becomes just as (insert crappy word here...). Finding gratitude for what you have now and using that peace to figure out what you really want will get you into your dream job much faster.

25.01.2022 Find your passion and youll never work a day in your life...the trouble is how do you find it? Ask us how:)

23.01.2022 I love it when I meet incredibly talented individuals who are ready to shine their talent on the world. Was honoured to lead this workshop "3 Steps to Finding a Career you Love" alongside Professional Migrant Women Group network, take the steps, youve got this!

23.01.2022 Sometimes you just have to be. And strangely when you stop trying so hard what you want happens to pop up unexpectedly. Has this ever happened to you?

23.01.2022 Whilst the media is focussing on all the things we miss out on during covid 19, I just wanted to reflect on 12 things we have gained in pockets of our society and more broadly: Families spending more time being active together Greater understanding of the passion and work that goes into educating our children ... Visibility of the self sacrifice that our healthcare and emergency service workers make to help save lives every day That everyone matters to someone More opportunity to work from home and be trusted to do so Time to pause and reflect on what matters most The time gained when you dont commute to a physical workplace Better understanding of the importance of connection for our overall well-being Time notice and question what we have always done on autopilot Visibility into how generous some can be The power of technology in creating new ways of working and connecting Awareness that individual actions DO make a difference Stay well, stay safe, make a positive difference

22.01.2022 It can be really tough to find meaningful work. It can be demoralising, confusing, overwhelming. Sometimes it seems easier to give up and just settle, play it safe and stay where you are.... And no wonder when so many businesses have no idea how to tap into peoples passions, treating their staff like an expendable commodity. When society conditions us to believe that the only success that we should strive for is a climb up the corporate ladder for more status and more money. Whats missing is meaning. We drastically need more meaning in what we do. Think about this next time you are deciding whether to apply for a job: What will matter more in 10 years time, that you gave it a shot and it didnt work out, or that you didnt even try and missed your opportunity. Or maybe that you gave it a shot and found a path filled with meaning, purpose and all things that light you up inside. Where you get up each morning excited about the day ahead. Where your days are filled by your passion for making a difference. People ask whats my number one tip in creating a career you love? Keep going! Xx

22.01.2022 Ive has a couple of people say they havent seen many posts lately and its totally true because this little baby boy has been keeping us excitedly preparing for a new journey. So thanks for all of your ongoing support and for achieving all the amazing things that each of you do, thats what makes this so rewarding! So for now we will be taking a break until late this year to nurture and inspire this new little person. Keep in touch and stay inspired xx

22.01.2022 What keeps you up at night? What keeps you up at night?

21.01.2022 Oh this made me laugh happy Friday!

21.01.2022 No matter how the week was, if you finish it with gratitude, its a great clean start to the weekend!

21.01.2022 Someone lovely today said how much they admire how I speak, my confidence and passion. Well it didnt come easy, its something I have had to work on, on many levels. Step 1 is believing that what you have to say is valuable.

21.01.2022 Prove the naysayers wrong

20.01.2022 In Australia, the average number of career changes is 5 - 7 in a lifetime. Make it worthwhile, make it happen, make a difference. In Australia, the average number of career changes is 5 - 7 in a lifetime. Make it worthwhile, make it happen, make a difference.

18.01.2022 Whats going to make your week fantastic? Start the week with a clear intention, and notice the difference it makes.

17.01.2022 Everyone can make a difference

16.01.2022 Today is RU OK day, so RU OK?

15.01.2022 A dream career might be elusive if the only thing you focus on is your career.

13.01.2022 "I'm not sure I should apply" is a phrase I often hear uttered. And one that makes me sad. Too often people opt out of their own success because they feel: they don't meet all the criteria there are so many others better than them it's not the right time to change jobs tired of all the knock backs... my English/skill/experience is not good enough If you don't apply the answer is always going to be "No". Yes it takes time, yes it takes effort, yes it takes resilience to get through the No's until the Yes comes along. Believe me it's worth it when you get there. So next time any of these thoughts cross your mind, think: How can I show I meet most of the criteria? Where do I shine and how do I show this? There is never a perfect time, so it might as well be now Each "No" gets me closer to a "Yes!" What's one thing I can do to improve? Say yes to you, and go for it, the worst that will happen is that nothing changes, and the best that will happen is you will be closer to where you want to be

11.01.2022 Love it when Im just having a casual chat and the person says "oh youre just what I need! I so need some career direction"

11.01.2022 A great leader knows when to give clear direction and when to let go and see what happens

10.01.2022 Sometimes it takes time for people to understand your point of view. If you are passionate about it, stick with it, tell many and share it in different ways. People will get on board when the time is right

10.01.2022 Are you constantly busy at work? "Busy" can become a default, a habit, a status even. A simple tip to be less busy is to stop telling yourself and others that you are "busy". Just delete the word from your vocabulary. Because what happens instead is you have to think of a new word like, inspired, great, or productive and that small shift does wonders. Go on, try it for a week!

10.01.2022 Has iso got you thinking its time for a change? Sick of your job but have no idea where to start? Want to find a job that you love? Join me in this 1 hour online workshop and make it happen

09.01.2022 Do you commute to work? I used to catch public transport to work each day and I found it so draining, everyone in their own solitary little world, tired, sick, sleeping, worrying about the day ahead or the day just gone. So many people in close proximity with so little connection. Take the opportunity to connect with someone today, maybe its a smile, an offer of a sweet or a hi, you never know who is sitting next to you unless you take the time to ask

07.01.2022 Are you a knowledge hoarder? A knowledge hoarder is someone who goes from course to course, to book, to webinar gathering all this wonderful information and putting very little if any into action. Next time you get some knowledge, come up with at least 3 actions that you can put into practice right away, thats when the real learning happens

07.01.2022 Finding a fulfilling job, career or business is more than luck, and searching and hoping for the "right place", its about being really clear on what you get from a job. Answer this question, why do you go to work? Keep asking yourself that until you get to answer that goes beyond, paying the bills, for money, for experience. When you know deep down what you really want from your job, youre one step closer to finding the dream job, and maybe you are closer than you think

05.01.2022 Having fun building a brand new website, stay tuned!

05.01.2022 Ever go to training thats awesome then you leave the room and forget everything because life gets in the way? An easy way to make sure what you learn truly gets absorbed is by committing to an action whilst you are in the training. Simple.

02.01.2022 Always make time to celebrate

02.01.2022 Beautiful morning for a walk

01.01.2022 If you had a craving for salted caramel, and the budget for gourmet ice cream, would you settle for generic vanilla? I see too many job applicants submit generic CVs and cover letters. Dont make this amateur mistake. Make sure your job applications are specific and tailored to what the organisation is looking for, youll stand out from the crowd as someone who genuinely wants the job.

01.01.2022 When you are in a meeting, voice a great idea, only to get ignored and find the next person say the exact same thing and get applauded...if this happens to you then 9 times out of 10 its a confidence issue. This may seem silly and awkward but it works, practice what you want to say in the mirror and look yourself in the eye. Do it until you can see that youre confident.
