25.01.2022 More ladybirds, this time in a carrot flower.

25.01.2022 Helllloooo Winter! A heavy frost this morning and another one tonight I'm sure.

23.01.2022 Chilli time....almost, some early developers

23.01.2022 Red Kuri or Hokkaido pumpkin not giving a toss about drought and fires, just doing it's thing.

21.01.2022 Ahhh the last of the Cucamelons, Mexican sour gherkins or Pepquinos. Grape sized crunchy sour goodness - they'll be back next Summer for sure.

19.01.2022 From the Farm - to you. We are now offering our freshly harvested produce range for pickup from the farmgate. If you live locally and would like to enjoy tasty fresh food grown without chemicals then send us a message with your email address. We'll then email through an order list for your perusal. Simple! We've set up an online shop and done away with the clunky email list. The shop is open every Sunday at 9am and closes Tuesdays at 8:30pm. (Thanks Pi Wei for the suggestion :) ). Find the Shop here : https://openfoodnetwork.org.au/brillig-farm/shop

19.01.2022 Marigold moon - lemon gem flowers in the wash. These little flowers smell and taste of lemon and make a great garnish. The leaves of this plant are feathery green with the same lemon taste.

18.01.2022 New seasons carrots on the grow. A glorious edible rainbow.

15.01.2022 A beautiful frosty morning here on the farm. The carrots are loving it.

14.01.2022 My first visit to Bistro Sociale on Friday and I love what Geordie Harrison is doing sourcing local produce. We had suckling pig from Katrina Spark at @redleaff...arm With roasted heirloom vegetables from @brilligfarm with an apple jus which was delicious. Geordie wants his restaurant to be family friendly and the prices are reasonable. Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch - and dinner Wednesday to Sunday nights. Ring to book a table. Let’s support this young chef as he gets some traction in the local food scene. #lovelocal #youngchefs @beridahotel #supportinglocal #bowral #farmtofork #paddocktoplate See more

11.01.2022 The Ruby Chard has it's winter coat - they go dark and purpley to soak up as much heat from the sun as they can. I love the contrast with the red stems and the way the leaves squeak as you move them about.

09.01.2022 The dam on Friday then a few days later on Monday. We did move the pump :)

08.01.2022 Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts - we are safe and well in Moss Vale with family. The farm is safe. Our home and infrastructure were saved by our amazing neighbours and the RFS who stood at a wall of flame and stopped it's progress. We are humbled and grateful beyond words for them and you the community that has supported us. Sam and Elisabeth

08.01.2022 Smoking up some Boldog chillies. They make an amazing smokey, sweet scorching hot chili powder. Perfect for winter.

05.01.2022 Kohl rabi looking spectacularly odd, but oh so delicious. My favorite vege I think.
