24.01.2022 BLUE GREEN ALGAE TOXIN LEVELS SAFE FOR BRIM WEIR POOL, BRIM Yarriambiack Shire Council would like to advise that Blue Green Algae toxin levels for Brim Weir Poo...l have returned to levels not considered a risk to public health. Regular monitoring will continue and the community will be advised of any adverse changes to the weir pool’s water quality. 18.01.2022 Iconic Brim business RM Dixon & Sons has been sold to new owners Ken, Robyn and Neil Quick. Ken said that the business will continue as usual with managers Chris and Hazel Edwards. 17.01.2022 The new tables and chairs have been installed in the car park at the Brim Silos. Some where nice an shady to sit while taking in the Brim Silo Art. Thanks to Horsham Sports & Community Club, and the Yarriambiack Shire Council, and the good looking volunteers that installed them.
16.01.2022 The silos are now lit up at night, the boys from Laser Electrical have been working at it for the last few days installing the light poles and the solar panel ...went up today. The lights will come on every night at dark so check out the silos after dark with perhaps an overnight stay at the park. See more

When that starters light comes on, jumping out from our barrier 23 will be none other than jockey Luke Nolen aboard the athletic grey gelding Neufbosc! With a racing strategy that leaves nothing to chance, the world famous Hayes training team of Lindsay Park Racing have this gelding in his peak fitness! For those not familiar with racing - there is no doubt you would still... know the horse Black Caviar - the champion mare who took the racing world by storm and by heart - and all with Luke Nolen aboard her! 10.01.2022 REDDAS PARK CAMPING GROUNDS OPEN The Brim Lions Committee is very pleased to have the Brim Creek ‘Reddas Park’ Camping and Caravan Grounds once again OPEN... for public use. OVERNIGHT CAMPERS; Please pay $10/night camp fee by placing payment into an envelope, then into the red box in front of the main toilet block. (spare envelopes can be found near bbqs) PLEASE OBEY CURRENT COVID REGULATIONS; - Social Distancing rules still apply outdoors - Face Masks must be work by all on camp grounds - Please maintain cleanliness whilst using facilities. If we all follow the rules; We all get to have fun!

04.01.2022 Brim Memorial Bowling Club was a hive of activity with the closing of the North Wimmera Bowls Division season held there on Sunday. Perfect weather treated bowlers to a good day of social competition with bowlers from every club, followed by an evening meal at the sports centre. Thanks to all that helped preparing the green and surrounds for the day, and the ladies that worked tirelessly to prepare and serve the meal.
