22.01.2022 Safely returned from the October 2017 tour to Ethiopia. All of the expected challenges thrown up but the group coped well. General agreement that a couple of extra "lay days" would have been appreciated in such a demanding itinerary. Here are some of the review comments kindly supplied from the group participants. -Let me take this opportunity to thank you so much for making this trip possible. A unique journey. -I feel honoured to have seen so many memorable sites and will have life long reflections on an amazing country. -I really enjoyed my time with you and the group .The main reasons that I came were because of your enthusiasm and knowledge of the country , because I knew so very little about Ethiopia and wanted to learn, and in the hope of having a particularly intimate look at the country in such a small group. On all accounts I was rewarded in spades. -I very much liked what I read in your pre-departure information about What is Brimin Lodge Tours and the social responsibility. About not going to the Omo valley and seeking to get some of our tourist income to the Ethiopian people who live away from the standard tourist circuit of the country. -I think your strengths are that you know the country, the people and how the system works. I think your main point of difference from other tours should be that you can allow your participants to interact with local Ethiopians. I felt that I was most able to do this at the farm and trekking also at Befeker Kossoye Lodge to a lesser degree. I feel that trekking is a must inclusion for the tour. -It was a marvellous trip. My mind is overloaded with incredible historic sites, incredible building feats both historical and infrastructure wise. Roads teaming with life people and animal. Also wonderful scenery.

20.01.2022 Months of planning and now just a week until blast-off for the first tour to Ethiopia. Stay tuned for 2018 tour plans in about a month - soon after we return from the first.

19.01.2022 So - 2020 will come and go, sadly without a visit to Ethiopia. The first year I have not spent some time in Ethiopia since 2014. Covid 19 is now affecting the country quite badly and there is serious political unrest which hopefully will resolve as time goes on. One of the participants from the October 2019 tour has put together a wonderful book of her photos. 19.01.2022 Wonderful May 2019 tour of Ethiopia just completed.The usual combination of immersing ourselves in the culture of the country and seeing many of the notable features and amazing landscapes. 08.01.2022 Should be heading off for the May 2020 tour in just a few days. Sadly all 2020 tours postponed until 2021. So far Ethiopia has very few cases of corona virus and the authorities are working hard to keep it in check.
