20.01.2022 Although BRIMM's Ganapati event on 23th Aug is well within guidelines and QLD Health's restrictions do not apply for the event due to COVID-safe plan in place, in response to recent positive COVID-19 cases in Brisbane, the committee has taken decision to arrange Ganapati festival alternatively. The event will NOT be held in person but will be live streamed on BRIMM's facebook page from 2:30 till 4 for devotees. The best dressed competition will be held online along with new ...competition for 'Best decoration at home' (please send your best pictures to BRIMM's email which will be published on facebook page). Bapas prasad plate will be available at very reasonable price ($7) at Mahendra Shinde's take away (0402827130) that includes sabudana khichadi, shira and vada pav. BRIMM requests your support in buying the prasad so the food isn't wasted. We are deeply sorry for the change in plans however the decision was taken keeping the communitys best interest at heart.

12.01.2022 It is with profound sadness, we inform the untimely demise of Nitin Patil in Saudi Arabia last week. Nitin was a young man who came to Australia with lots of hopes and aspirations and was part of Brisbane Maharashtra Mandal since it was founded. He also served as a President in the earlier BRIMM committee and actively participated in Akhil Australia Marathi Sammelan held in Sydney. He then moved to India in 2008 and was working in Saudi Arabia until his sad demise....
