Features include delightful flowing creeks, a treehouse and ‘Mum's Spot’, and some views. This is a morning walk, but for those keen to make a day of it (with a forecast of 21C the day will not be hot), we will extend after lunch by climbing nearly Mount Jerrabomberra, taking a short drive to reach the start of the walk. Bring morning tea, and lunch to enjoy at the end of the morning walk. Distance: 8 km (additional 3-4 km for Mt Jerrabomberra). Climb: 270m (Mt Jerrabomberra an additional 160m). 19.01.2022 Walking the AAWT you see some interesting native wildlife ... wombats, kangaroos, snakes, lizards and thousands of birds. Then there's the feral pests. We saw deer around Cobungra and up to Mt Jim, and plenty of brumbies around the Cobberas through to Tom Groggin. But the worst of all is feral pigs, including these ones in the northern end of the Kosciuszko National Park.

The weather was perfect, the views stunning, and the wildflowers stunning. Lots of bulbine lilies and leopard orchids.
