09.01.2022 So today is the day that we would have been starting our trek to the other side of the world, Louisville Kentucky, to complete in the Sweet Adelines International 2020 Harmony Classic Competition. We were so excited to be heading back to International again, to wave the flag for Sweet Adelines Australia, and take to the stage with our ‘Sequel’ package. Well, 2020 had other plans for us!!... So here we stay in Canberra, Australia. Our city is currently Covid-free. We are safe. We have found many weird and wonderful remote learning and singing options throughout the year and are now we are very privileged to be back to live rehearsals, with precautions, every second week. So we follow the directions given. Support each other. Sing when we are able, however is possible . . . and we wait. #WeAreBrindabella #SweetAdelinesAustralia #SweetAds75 #HarmonyClassic #SweetAdelinesStrong #Waiting

08.01.2022 In January 2017, the lovely Joan Heath retired from Brindabella Chorus after 18 and a half years with us. This picture is from her final rehearsal with us. Today, many of us sang (and cried) at Joan’s funeral. Joan was the most delightful, warm and loving woman, and our condolences go to her family and in particular her husband John.
