21.01.2022 Ah well it has not been the best morning/last night but I have finally got away on the trip. Got everything packed in the car as you can see.. well I hope! And dropped by the Dululu, Queensland site to drop off some equipment. Sadly didn't an empty enough to take the waterpod for a refill this time.... Now sitting here with some currry and admiring the dusk and the half moon. So many great flowers out along the brigalow belt region! Wow, will need to take photos on the way back. Here's a little guy that hitch a ride when I got some supplies at Biloela, Queensland .

16.01.2022 Hi all, It's nice to have got to proston for the night and to chill with some people I know who support me and the work I do. It was great to see what has been down with the Gayndah, Queensland River walk! After that I showed a few plants to people then headed out to Proston, Queensland via Mundubbera, Queensland. It was very cool to see a few different Melaleucas and rare Acacias near Beeron National Park.... Now I am just watching the sun set as it gets cooler ready for a great day tomorrow to help plan where I am going and what I am doing. Till then keep on greening, Mark C Bringing back the bush

09.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Well note to self I cannot drive everywhere with a car and a trailer.. after stuck and almost getting bogged on the trail from Hurdle Gully Lookout Coominglah State Forest to Monto, Queensland lol. However it was good have a decent breakfast and see some cool vegetation at the lookout. After that I went to a very special contact through Landcare at Mungungo. It was great to see all the native fruits and rare plants!... Then I went down to Gayndah, Queensland via some interesting scrub in Gurgeena. It was great to see it and will have some more photographs in the next couple of days in an album. At this stage I plan to be in Gayndah till midday and head down via the back road to Proston, Queensland to spend the next 2 nights there. After that I will head to Bundaberg, Queensland so I will keep you posted! Cheers, Mark BBTB owner manager

08.01.2022 Had some nice lightening and thunder thought I would share one of the videos I took lol. Cheers Mark Bbtb

07.01.2022 Hi all! It has been a quiet week but I am looking forward to the Wondai Country Markets this weekend! I hope it goes well. I have worked on shoveling more pig manure and sawdust for compost. I have also sorted out some of my equipment for the few bits of work I have from early December up in Central Queensland.... I have just uploaded a new blog post of mine on the website. This one is on weed control. Feel free to have a look at: www.bringingbackthebush.com.au/blog/ Hope some of you can follow that. I know it may be a bit long and wordy. For now I will leave you with the welcome sign to the South Burnett Rail Trail at Kingaroy. Looks pretty nice and I hope other regions will get theirs done when they can. Cheers, Mark C BBTB Owner Manager

05.01.2022 Today, I felt the need to get out of the house after feeling under the weather after the markets yesterday. It was great to see Boondooma Dam, although not exactly what I expected and some various parts of the roadside in Proston showing Brigalow, Ironbark and Qld Blue Gum vegetation.

04.01.2022 Have a chat and buy a plant if you can!

04.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that I will not be at Markets for now. As some would know I will be in the North/South Burnett this weekend/next week. I will let you all know when I am hanging around the nursery so I can distribute awesome natives to you all! :) Cheers,... Mark C See more

03.01.2022 Good evening everyone, It has been another up and down week for me but it was nice to have a ride around Hedlow Creek after the last markets for me on Sunday. On Monday I got a little done on the nursery as well as handweeded a new clients garden. Was great to see a few natives.... Tuesday has consisted of some work in Wandal and it was nice to have a chat with a couple of friends in the area. I have also worked on a little of my website/notes for it and will do more of that tomorrow over breakfast. After that I will be heading down to Yeppoon for a short job which will be great to help them out. Till next update. Cheers, Mark C BBTB owner manager

03.01.2022 Evening all, Before I fall asleep soon. It was great to have a walk near Adelaide Park today (photos below). Don't forget I am at Emu Park Markets tomorrow so hope to see ya there!... Cheers, Mark C Bringing Back the Bush

01.01.2022 Evening all, Well it has been a bit of a stuff around with accommodation on my part the last 2 days. Today it has been a bit of a saga with driving around to the otherside of Lake Awoonga to find out the free camping area is closed until further notice...so I've ended up at this rest area. Anyways the last few days have been eventful. First I spent a couple of nights with some great farmers in Proston, Queensland working on regenerative agriculture and permaculture principles... on a farm scale. I utilised my time there to try and recuperate as best I could and I tried to think more about where I am heading. Nice to report some of my struggling plants in the ute and collect some cool seed. Helped them with some propagation too. So from Proston due to health scare I drove straight from there to Bundaberg, Queensland after picking up the antibiotics I met up with a landholder from North Isis and got another tour of the site and sold some Smilax australis which is just a small part of the plants needed. After getting up this morning as mentioned before I visited both Gin Gin Landcare and Bush Food Garden and Bundaberg Landcare to get some plants for clients. I spent a bit long there but it was great to see the Bush Food Garden and assist with ID where I can :). I quickly dropped into Bororen, Queensland, Australia where it was interesting to look at some veg at what used to be called the campground. It has been an interesting time and look forward to doing what I can in Calliope, Queensland before I head to Thangool, Queensland, Australia tomorrow arvo. Till next time stay safe and look after yourselves Cheers Mark Bringing Back the Bush

01.01.2022 Hi all, Been working on putting together one of the Huegelkulture/erosion control to help not only slow the flow of water but also improve the soil with more nitrogen availability. Just another reminder of BBTB at Wondai Markets! Should be good this weekend. Start time is 7am.... Been busy doing a bit more propagating and will be busy over the next few days helping out with a plant sale here on the farm with various permaculture species. From next week I'll be heading up to Thangool, Queensland, Australia and then Bouldercombe before BBTB at Fig Tree Markets in December! So yep a busy week! Till the next update look after yourselves. Cheers, Mark Bbtb owner manager
