19.01.2022 Get fucking real! No one said that starting a SUCCESSFUL (being the operative word) lash business was gonna be a piece of cake. Anyone can run one, oh that’s easy ... learn lashes buy the kit open up at home charge fuck all and ta-da...you have created a lash business... um no, that’s a ta da.HOBBY! Running a lash business, like any other business is stressful AF and only when you get deep down, like right deep down into it, do you realise it is all life consuming. There are councils, taxes, insurances (and there is sometimes more than one), marketing, branding, staffing, contracts, polices, procedures, GST, booking systems, complaints, electricity, rent, telephone, internet, purchasing and thats just the tip of the iceberg (in most cases). Gone are your days off, your nights are filled with answering messages after a full day of lashing clients or stressing how to get clients booking, because you have no messages to reply to . You can say adios to sick days, as they are non existent now. This is all you and your baby to raise, as though it were a living breathing entity and needs just as much hard work , love and all of your attention. So to be honest get the right people, right now, right at the beginning to make your journey as easy and stress free as possible. Because if you want this to be more than just a HOBBY and you wanna make some real CASH then you have to take this seriously right from the get go. Start how you mean to go on has always been our motto, and a commercial salon 7 staff and multiple national and international awards says we can’t be far from right!

15.01.2022 Cheap lashes aren’t good and good lashes aren’t cheap! So, you many think you know what this little post is about but you are WRONG! Its not directed at clients looking for a cheap deal, nope, its directed at you! You, little Ms lash artist and that bloody post you just wrote... Looking for the BEST lash trays at the CHEAPEST price under $XX What the actual F! Are you for real I don’t even have a lash line and that makes me sooooooo mad . It’s the same as if Sally down the road is charging only $50 for a set of lashes and you know she isn’t making a profit and she is harming our industry. Doesn’t that just make your blood boil . You know how much hard work you have put into your craft, hundreds of ours and so many tears and someone to devalue you like that. Do you even know what goes into creating a lash line? **Well, If you don't already have a following and you’re not unique then it's hard to start/build, **Be prepared to get faulty products, you will test them time and time again and some ppl still wont like them **a % of every order will be shit. **Did you know as well you have no cover if you import yourself?? That’s not even the beginning and what you wanna pay like $13 a tray? Oh plus FREE postage. Ugh! Come on now. Just like you are valued as a lash artist lets value our suppliers.
