18.01.2022 Tea Party My 6 year old twins have been asking every day for a tea party for what feels like weeks! And finally today was the day, hooray! So I got out the good China, set up the special stand I’ve been saving for special occasions, baked gooey lemon slice and banana bread and we had a good old fashioned tea party with actual tea! I think the drinking tea was the real reason the girls were wanting a tea party, funnily enough, turns out they don’t like tea ... The boys joined us, making it clear they were just there for the food Hopefully next tea party we will be able to include some friends! Hope your all staying safe. Fran xx

Being a home based business there are just a few too many restrictions that make it too challenging for the short term. 10.01.2022 Clash Royale Cake We have a birthday in our house today, my eldest turns 11! He may not be going to the snow for the first time like he wanted, but he still gets cake! Nate can talk all things Clash Royale till the cows come home, so it was no surprise that this was the theme of his cake this year! Designed by Nate to represent his arena in the game with all his favourite characters. I was closely supervised while putting this one together to make sure it was just right.... 04.01.2022 Family Tree Cake Today it’s my mum’s birthday, she’s 85! Like so many of you, I imagined a big family gathering to mark this milestone... Well, lockdown won’t stop me from making my mum a special cake! I‘ve had this concept in my mind for a while, and I’m so pleased I brought it to life just to see the joy it brought to my mum on her iso birthday.... Many of you wouldn’t be aware, but I’m the youngest of 12! That’s right 12 children!!! My amazing mum has raised 12 kids, can you imagine?!? The cake is a photo of my mum and dad, taken on their honeymoon, the tree has 12 branches, each branch representing their children. The leaves represent the family’s of all my siblings, including their life partners, children and grandchildren. When I finished I counted 40 leaves for the grandkids and great grandkids. Such a huge achievement! I’m so grateful in these uncertain times that with the right support and care from family and mum’s community that she is able to be at home. Wishing my incredible mum a very happy 85th birthday xx
