25.01.2022 Weekly Update: the Youth Club is back and we are planning to gather for Halloween so if you want some witches warlocks and other scary young ones and old ones visiting you please either leave a light on or something that tells us it is cool to visit and we will try to get to yours. We will start at 6pm and finish by 7.30. The IT Hub is on its way with the majority of electronic equipment purchased and then we need to get the Internet connected and we will be up and running. More to come on this development. We now have a new hot water service in the supper room courtesy of the Council and should eventually see a shed on the grounds. We have held 2 information nights this month and finish this month with 500 years of the Reformation Tuesday 31st starting at 7.30pm hope to see you all at the Hall
23.01.2022 Weekly Update: We had an open day at IT Hub and over 20 people dropped in to see the new Hub. We will be producing a brochure to provide more information on the use of the IT HUB. Youth Group started with a trip to the pool and we all got water logged but had a great time! Weather and other events have disrupted the group but that will improve. Table tennis tables now set up and awaiting other items of pleasure. We will be doing KESAB this year on March 4th all welcome to ass...ist. The weather has interrupted the Aqua aerobics classes by being either too hot or too cold! We had to cancel the Valentines Day raffle but will have some brilliant prizes for our Mother's Day raffle - more to come!!!! We are having a working bee on 11th March from 10am onwards and all are encouraged to assist us if possible (free BBQ and drinks).
22.01.2022 This Friday 6th September we are having a disco for the young ones up to 17 years. Come along and have fun, listen to music, maybe dance and enjoy yourself. Munchies and soft drinks available
21.01.2022 IT/Computer Hub Grand Opening Friday night! All encouraged to attend from 7pm for 7.30 start. Come along and see what we have available in our Hub. Check out the Gym, and our Youth Club equipment including table tennis, volleyball/badminton, air hockey, pro-basketball etc. Beer, wine, tea/coffee available and nibbles. Guest speaker Geoff Brock will open.
15.01.2022 How lucky is Brinkworth to be hosting a play with renowned Australian actor John Wood (Blue Heelers and many others) and Chris Pidd in our Hall on 10th August. A play that has been performed in NSW, VIC & QLD country towns - don't miss out on this great opportunity!
11.01.2022 Only 6 days to go until we have this excellent family entertainment at our Hall. BBQ from 5.45. Starts at 6.30 and we will have cinema snacks at reasonable prices. So get your tickets from Cafe for Ewe and have a fun filled time!!!
11.01.2022 Weekly Update: Sorry I have been sick so not managing to give you an update lately. Anyway, we say a big thanks and a sad farewell to Naomi Wilkins, who despite doing Year 12 this year has been a great asset to the Hall and our Committee for the previous 2 and a half years!!!! We now have more GYM members (must be that time of year haha!). The Youth Club has had a few breaks due to unforeseen circumstances. No Youth Club Sunday 10th (Brinkworth Xmas Party) and 13th December... (School Concert). We are having the Resource Bus return on Sunday 17th December from 2-5pm so the young ones get a bit longer to enjoy what it offers (games, WiFi and music). We are hoping to plan a Xmas Party for our last night of the year Wednesday 20th from 4pm to 6pm. Hoping the parents, grandparents and siblings will come along, bring a plate and help us to celebrate (will let you know if we can do it). We have ordered the Internet connection for the IT Hub, hope to start up in January. The IT Hub is available to print/copy black & white/colour A4 & A3 sheets. The quality of the new copier is impressive! At the moment you will need to contact Nancy on 88462243 for more details.

08.01.2022 Hi All don't forget we have an excellent computer hub at the Hall, with the Internet, PC's, laptops, tablets, a great copier, laminator and electronic white board. The room is air conditioned as well.
07.01.2022 Weekly Update: IT Hub now has NBN and few more things to sort out and we will be up and running! The Committee wishes you all a safe and happy Xmas and New Year. I believe there will be Carols at the Hall on 24th
07.01.2022 Weekly Update: Well we yet again have had a busy few weeks at the Hall. The Regional Youth Bus was at the Hall for the Youth Club members and some others on Sunday 12th November and all had a great time! Mark and Pastor James held a discussion on 500 years of the Reformation on 31st October and this was well attended! We had a Ute Muster and a wedding (George and Jaymi's) at the Hall with around 130 guests and visitors attending and the day was brilliant! AND not to forget th...at the Youth Club walked the streets of Brinkworth scaring the locals with their excellently cool costumes for Halloween only to be scared themselves by the murder scene created by our local Police Officer, Charmaine and friends - a very cool Halloween was enjoyed by all who participated. A big thanks from the Hall Committee yet again goes out to all who support the Hall and what we are trying to achieve! See more
04.01.2022 The Bushfire Ready information session at the Hall was well attended with around 25 adults and 4 children attending. Kylee who drove all the way from Pt Augusta certainly taught us how to deal with the various aspects of bushfires. Andrew W did an excellent job with the BBQ! Committee also did an excellent job. Thank you to all those who attended. See you next Tuesday at 7pm for Red Cross and SA Ambulance presentations - these are important to us all
