19.01.2022 The nets are set up, bowling machine loaded and we are ready for cricket to begin!! Colts training (Under 16 boys and girls and under 12s boys and girls) is starting this Thursday night at Brinkworth @4:30pm! There will then be an information session and meeting which includes all parents and players after junior training @6pm. All are welcome to Join our fantastic club for the upcoming season which starts on 31st of October!! If your interested or want to know more just message this Facebook group or simply just rock up to training! Everyone welcome boys and girls. 18.01.2022 Greetings all. Under strict SACA directive the association has deemed that the Grand finals this weekend be cancelled. As per the playing conditions of the Stanley cricket association the team who finished highest on the ladder will be awarded the premiership. As a result HUGE congratulations to our Under 16 team who have been awarded the 2019/20 Premiership. They well and truly deserve this as they have been the best team all year. Well done and thanks to their Super coach ...Paul Meyer and captain courageous Jack Apples Weckert!! Not the way you want to win premierships but there is no question that these kids absolutely deserve it. Well done to all! Further more due to the circumstances we will be postponing the Presentations on Sunday afternoon. We will re visit this at a later date. In the mean time we will probably have a very quick working in the next couple of weeks to clean up the club rooms and pack away the nets. Thanks to all who have put in a tireless effort amongst all 3 teams this year. The gold caps will be back post corona after we strengthen up on some longnecks and Mettwurst. Go Gold caps!!

15.01.2022 Big thanks to the kind people at Pilkington's Refrigeration for kindly donating a few parts as well as their well trained employee for a few running repairs on the fridge. Expect the players to be well hydrated this weekend. If your looking for a new cooling system for your house or work place look no further!!

12.01.2022 What a day for the club! With the help of 12 willing volunteers, Cam Hill and his skills laying carpet the nets are now up ready for use!! 3 nets, nets that fold up into lock up boxes, hard chain mesh outer to stop cars driving over, one net with a bowling machine (and eventually a shed so we just have to open shed to use machine), fully concreted Inbetween and a fly net over the top. Huge thanks to all our volunteers and business for their donation of goods and most importa...ntly time. Next stage is the shed for the bowling machine which we will attack after harvest then it will be all systems go. 12.01.2022 Gday everyone, a message from the association! As per the latest advise from the South Australian Government (https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/response) we must immediately halt all training and games for a minimum of two weeks. At this stage the executive will monitor the situation and make adjustments to the program when we have a clearer picture of the length of cessation. Please ensure you make contact with members and advise them of the training restrictions. Please assur...e your members and players we will provide an updated program as soon as is practicable. Updates will also be placed on the Stanley Facebook page.

11.01.2022 We have power!! With only a few finishing touches left on the shed our good friend Phil Raymond was kind enough to lend a hand and install a power point for the bowling machine. The nets are ready to aid the next crop of gold cap champions!

I will send this out in an email as well but thought I would get it out there now! If you haven’t provided your email address and you or your child intend to play please message it to Simon ASAP. ... Any issues please let Simon (0408464795) know and he will get to it as soon as possible. You will see you can also pay for the shirts you have ordered when you register. If you have ordered one please pay at the same time! Once again if players are not registered they will not be able to play so please do this ASAP to avoid disappointed when round 1 comes around. COVID Marshall. As mentioned we also need everyone to do the COVID Marshall training as more the better for the club. It only takes 10 minutes and is really easy. A lot of you would have done this with footy and thanks to the couple who have already sent on. 08.01.2022 Hi All an important message from the President. Cricket Australia has had a clamp down on cricket registration. All Junior participants are now required to register before they can play a game. If they are not registered they will not be covered by insurance and hence There will be a zero tolerance if they are not registered and they will not be able to play. Registering is simple just log onto playcricket.com.au search for Brinkworth Koolunga Cricket Club and follow the prompts. I know this is a pain but it essential. If you have any issues please Contact Simon Goss on 0408464795 and He should be able to sort out any issues you may have.

08.01.2022 To all our div 1 colts from last cricket season we will have a bbq tea and a trophy/medallion presentation on Friday night the 30th of October starting at 5:00 o'clock while our div 3 play. please bring your whites for a possible photo. Tea and a soft drink provided for div 1 players. All supporters welcome will be good to see a few faces supporting the Div 3a while they play also! Also a quick reminder that all players need to be registered on mycricket before they can play!!! Follow the link in the previous post.

08.01.2022 Grand finals and presentations!!! Under 16 colts through to the grand final!! They will Play their grand final Sunday at Sevenhill from 10am. Make sure we get as many club supporters there on Sunday to cheer on the team! ... Following Sunday’s grand final we will all be making our way back to the Crosby (Brinkworth Oval) to celebrate win or lose. We will be coinciding this with our presentations for the season. This will Include A grade, Under 16 and under 12s! As the time will be variable according to when the colts finish will aim for around 4:30/5pm. Easiest way is for everyone to get along to support and all come back together to Brinkworth! There will be a meal available with bbq and salad. A huge thanks to Glenn from Oakbridge constructions for all his donated time and efforts in helping us put the shed up. He has also kindly donated a Bat signed by Glenn McGrath which the club will raffle off at a later date.
