21.01.2022 Happy New Year to you! How are you? I am both happy and sad about return to school next week. Sad because we have had a great break and I always enjoy the slower pace and not 'having' to be up and organised by 6.30/7am. Happy because I have lots of new creative and business ideas buzzing around that I'm needing some child-free headspace to realise. First up, I have been working on my lovely but much-neglected website and blog. Refreshed the branding gallery with last year's... work and it was so lovely to relive the shoots and the wonderful conversations I had with clients whilst planning and producing the images together. 14.01.2022 Aye-aye-aye the struggle is real with a teen and tween daughter. Often discussed between my girlfriends too. There are no comments posted on this article yet but I'll be interested to check bag later. I'd love to hear your thoughts.....

03.01.2022 Ten-agers! There's a term for them!! and I'll have one in a few months.... What a beautiful age. It's like the caterpillar in her cocoon starting to develop into the butterfly and spread her wings. Many of the sentiments and statements from this great article (in comments) are echoed from my daughter, her friends and other mums I know. And it's alarming!... But I see how she resolves her friendship problems and I do not intervene unless she asks. These days, she seeks my opinion but takes the information and determines her own way to apply what resonates for her.
