23.01.2022 Korben is Luxuriating in the winter sun.

23.01.2022 Over 5 years later and this brother, Ginger Megs and his pale sister, Cheetah are still very close. OK, the cooler weather probably helps with encouraging the cuddling. Cheetah is the only short haired sibling with her sister and brothers all being medium haired. Her other sister is Jean Grey and brother is Arnold Schwartzerkitty.

23.01.2022 Yes Pazuzu, its the weekend and you can sleep in.

22.01.2022 You are such a handsome boy Korben. This loving and affectionate boy would be a wonderful adoption with his sister Leeloo. A lot of patience would be required to begin with for new adopting parents. www.catcuddlecafe.com/adoptions

22.01.2022 Me trying to work from home. Ouch, Korben

20.01.2022 Korben is deciding if he should jump onto the cat post or my shoulders. Option A is less painful for me.

20.01.2022 Always taunting me to come back to bed, Pazuzu.

19.01.2022 Nothing like a bit of afternoon sun on your undercarriage, right Pazuzu?

18.01.2022 Asparagus Tortious.

18.01.2022 What is it Korben? Did you need more space for yourself? 3 campus cats and a Twisted Sister

18.01.2022 Leelo can nod off on the railing knowing that the cat netting has her supported. She is also in the best position for the bird feeding show.

17.01.2022 This overcast weather!!! The cats have been hassling me since 3.30pm to give them dinner. Dinner will be served at 5.30pm you lot. Pazuzu is quiet but Leeloo and Korben have the highest pitch whines.

17.01.2022 Our yard sale is now in full swing. Grab some clothing for a dollar and make an offer on everything else. Head to our East st car park behind the Cat Cuddle Café in Lutwyche. On until 12.30pm All monies go to the rescue kitties

14.01.2022 Anyone for a bowl of Leeloo? She is up for adoption you know.

13.01.2022 Excellent work Pazuzu, I need to get that fitted sheet on.

12.01.2022 Leeloo and Korben are still at the Pussies Galore Rescue Rancho. It really is time that they got their own home. They would be best being homed together as these weirdos dont really socialise with the other Rancho kitties.

12.01.2022 Please sign. These intelligent animals need our help. http://chng.it/7WYLr2Gsjq

08.01.2022 This Saturday come and top up your wardrobe, decorate your home or set yourself up with DVDs, books or CDs. For $5 to $10 you could walk away with bags of stuff. It all has to go so make offers and rummage away. All the while you will be helping to save kitties.

08.01.2022 Garage Sale today Forest Lake

07.01.2022 Not a kitty but could people please keep an eye out for this darling bird. He was a very sick little chick who was rescued and adopted by his loving foster family. He was last seen heading north from the Gateway area, heading towards Boondall.

07.01.2022 People ask why I dont sleep well. The cats think its hilarious to jump from the high window onto me while I try to sleep. Leeloo, Korben and Pazuzu are the worst offenders.

05.01.2022 Pazuzu, Ive got dishes to wash. How could I disturb you though?

04.01.2022 I’m not judging you Pazuzu, you are a cat. If you want to stay there all day it does save me having to make the bed.

04.01.2022 Mt. Olive, NJ, just passed an ordinance requiring all feral cats to be sterilized and released, either back to their habitat or to a barn home, rather than ki...lled. (The No Kill Advocacy Center, my organization, provided assistance in drafting.) Although this has been practice for over a decade thanks to the work of the Mt. Olive TNR Project, it now has the force of law. And such ordinances are increasing across the country for good reason. Its been 30 years since the earliest adopters of community cat programs, like San Francisco, proved that doing so: - Reduces intakes and killing of community cats; - Reduces complaint calls to animal control; - Reduces illness in the shelter; - Reduces spending (and waste of taxpayer money); and even, - Increases opportunities to expand lifesaving of other animals, such as dogs, too: nokilladvocacycenter.org/community-cat-program.html. Unfortunately, some communities continue to cling to a 19th century catch and kill mindset. The pound in Casper, WY, for example, kills most feral cats it takes in. And yet, rather than embrace a community cat program, the City Council is making it a misdemeanor to feed feral cats: https://bit.ly/3iwn0TW. Not only is doing so inhumane, it will make things worse. While cats can survive in the absence of human assistance, it is as true today as it was at the moment in history when humans and cats were first inclined to live together thousands of years ago, cats will seek out humanity and the creature comforts we excel at creating; while humans, in obedience to those impulses which are best in them, will continue to open their hearts and homes to care for them. But instead, Casper officials are demanding with the threat of jail that people be hostile rather than welcoming, selfish rather than generous, cruel rather than kind, each of those alternatives being necessary to discourage cats who want our help. It is an attempt to criminalize compassion and subvert our most noble instincts. Tell them, No. If you live in Wyoming (especially, if you live in Casper), send a POLITE email asking Casper officials to embrace a humane solution: https://bit.ly/3iAAFcQ. ----------------------------------------- Learn more about me: http://bit.ly/2T1aaDT. 04.01.2022 Korben continually launches onto me from great heights. His favourite is to launch onto me from the top of the wardrobe when I am asleep. I must leave a note for the coroner when they need to do an autopsy one day.

03.01.2022 Nothing like a bit of morning sun is there Leeloo?

01.01.2022 The Cat Cuddle Cafe celebrated its 5 year anniversary today. It is also World Cat Day. The rescue itself has been operating for almost 25 years.

01.01.2022 Dont complain about the early hour Pazuzu, you get to stay in the nice warm bed. Im off to work because the Cat Cuddle Cafe is open again.
