18.01.2022 our grand final win against Saints 6-4

17.01.2022 Our most challenging masters so far........... 5 days out we had 11 players 2 days out player had to put out due to workplace incident (10 players) 1 day of tournie, but yet to play, someone got head injury from a stray warm up throw from another team (9 players) Bench player organised....... then another had to pull out after trying to play with the flu (8 players), so benchie got a run... Made it to GF using pick up players Had a benchie pick up so gave her half a game with the other pick up.......... couple of pitches in she got hit in the forehead by a massive left field hit... she's out, other benchy in Ended up with a silver Thanks to all the pick ups that helped us out: Kay (Wombat) from Whizz Bangs; Tracey, Christine & Ru from Brighton Roosters; Belinda from Bets Vets; Clare & Lu from Bayside Bears. 05.01.2022 Devils Softball would like to acknowledge the passing of Life Member Dot Pullen. Dot was a former member of Goldwings and then Devils when both clubs amalgamated in 1989. She was a scorer extraordinaire, collating that stats for both Juniors & Seniors. For those that might be interested, her funeral will be held on Friday 12th October. Commencing 11:30am at Traditional Funerals, 636 Morayfield Road, Burpengary.... Our sympathies go out to all her family Time & Game Dottie!!
