24.01.2022 Place: The Spit Category: Beach (South) Leash Status: Off Leash Address: Seaworld Drive, Main Beach Details: Obviously this spot is not in Brisbane, but a fantastic place for both humans and dogs to go for a day trip! There are several spots to hang, with the one we visited being immediately after Sea World. There is heaps of space for dogs to run around, however the area is not enclosed so ensure your dog has a good recall.

24.01.2022 Place: Bunyaville Conservation Park Category: Walk (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: Jinker Track, Albany Creek Details: Gorgeous bush tracks thats go through the reserve. Lots or trails, streams and hills to explore. Parking just off the Jinker Road.

20.01.2022 Place: Sparkes Hill Reservoir Category: Walk (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash (opportunity for off leash swims) Address: Shand St, Alderly. Details: A beautiful walk through creeks, paddocks and bridges. Plenty of opportunities for the dogs to have a swim in the creek that runs along the walking track. Best place to park is at Grinstead Park and follow the track from there.

19.01.2022 Place: QRoasters Category: Cafe (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 44 Wolverhampton St, Stafford Details: One of my favourite places to get coffee with heaps of outdoor seating for dogs and a beautiful location, just off Kedron Brook. The staff are incredibly kind and fantastic with dogs! They make their own coffee which you can buy along with other delicious products!

18.01.2022 Place: Alcove Cafe and Deli Category: Cafe (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 92B Kedron Brook, Wilston Details: This is probably my favourite place in Brisbane to eat! Not only is the food amazing but the staff are incredible with dogs! Cannot recommend it more!

18.01.2022 Place: Kalinga Park Category: Walk (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: Kalinga Street, Wooloowin Details: Located alongside Kalinga Park, Kalinga Park walkway runs along Kedron Brook. There are opportunities to cross to the other side of the creek and a track that is covered with trees and runs close to the river. In Summer it would also be a good place for a dog swim. Not the longest walk but there is park gym equipment and open sports fields nearby.

18.01.2022 Place: Toohey Forest Park Category: Walk (Southside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 600 Toohey Road, Nathan Details: A lovely bush walk with several trails and distances. Fairly flat with only a few hills.

14.01.2022 Place: Outside In Cafe Category: Cafe (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 110 Maygar St, Windsor Details: A gorgeous little cafe with fantastic food and a lot of room for pooches. The staff are very good with dogs and its always a wonderful place to go for a bite.

12.01.2022 Place: Nudgee Beach Category: Swim/Beach (Northside) Leash Status: Off Leash Address: Nudgee Road, Nudgee Details: Nudgee is one of the most popular off leash dog beaches in Brisbane. There is an enclosed dog park with agility equipment, as well as an off leash beach. Probably not the best place for nervous, unsociable or dogs with not good recall as there is alot of space to run! It is a great place for a long walk, picnic or day trip with your pooch.

10.01.2022 Place: Colmslie Beach Reserve Category: Beach (South) Leash Status: Off Leash Address: 152 Colmslie Rd, Murrarie Details: A lovely little beach for an off leash run and swim. There are plenty of on leash walking tracks to explore as well!

05.01.2022 Place: Eildon Hill Reservoir Category: Walks (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 109 Hawdon Street, Windsor Details: Eildon Hill is a nice spot for a walk at any time of the day. At the top is a concreted area, but tracks are located near Electrical Huts on the hill that lead the surrounding bushland. The tracks are short, and at times steep, but are a welcome break from the city streets.

05.01.2022 Place: Grange Forest Park Category: Walk (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: Blandford St, Wilston Details: Grange Forest Park has several winding trails that connect to Kedron Brook. The majority of the area is on lead only but there is a large open space the other side of Blandford St for some off lead fun. The trails are short but are enough for an hour walk.

02.01.2022 Place: Kedron Brook Floodway (Gordon Park Section) Category: Walks/Swims (Northside) Leash Status: Off Leash Address: Entrances on Montrose St, McPherson St, Montgomery St, Thistle St, Gordon Park Details: One of the best off leash dog areas in Brisbane! Dogs can swim, play and explore the creek for many kilometres. Not the best place to go if your dog does not have recall as the area is not fenced. It also can get very busy so dog owners should expect dogs of all shapes and sizes to be there!

02.01.2022 Place: Albany Creek Road Reserve Category: Walk (Northside) Leash Status: On Leash Address: 14-16 Parkview Place, Bridgeman Downs Details: A fantastic bushland walk on the north side of Brisbane. There are many trails to walk of all lengths, making it the perfect place for some fresh air in the suburbs!

01.01.2022 Place: Queens Beach Category: Beach (Northside) Leash Status: Off Leash Address: Flinders Ln.-Donkin St, Scarborough Details: This beach is another fantastic location for a walk and swim. The beach is off leash full time and a great place to visit with your pup. A big thank you to Liz Brockman for submitting this.
