20.01.2022 Want to improve your Warhammer 40k game and really understand the new 9th edition game? Want to slowly work up to attending local tournaments, maybe even travel for events in the future or play for a team? Want to play 40k at a high level and still have a great time, and make some great mates along the way? Dineeth from The Normal Blokes 40k Podcast is going to start running fortnightly 40k improvement sessions for players who have an grasp of the game, but want to work up ...to playing in events. At present these sessions are planned for Monday nights fortnightly at 6:30pm. Well start by introducing players to concepts of matched play, including: Playing to the mission and getting points on the board. List design. Sportsmanship. Playing different scenarios with a plan in place. Well start simple, and work our way up to more complex theories. Dineeth has had experience playing 40k interstate and even internationally, and was lucky enough to be selected at this years Team Queensland coach, and Team Australia coach for the WTC 2020 Team. If youre keen on attending these sessions, please contact the store and well put you down on our sign up sheet. Once we have a shortlist of players, well be starting our sessions.

16.01.2022 A big shout out to the players of our final pod in BGCs EDH Showdown and congrats to Brandon Rashad who took the win and scored a Secret Lair Enemy Fetch Lands Set as the top prize! A huge thanks to Ryan Chittendon for being our T/O for the grand final day too! Its been a wild month of EDH for everyone involved!
