19.01.2022 Was it really almost 10 years ago that we were sweeping out all that mud and then carrying our boats to the sailing club boat ramp for many (many) months to follow until our shiny new pontoon arrived? What a mammoth effort from our members, volunteers, neighbours and friends who helped us recover. And many of those people were also impacted with damage to their own homes and businesses. We were so grateful to everyone's support at the time.
18.01.2022 Congratulations to club members Michael Hart & Calen Dagis (mens double sculls), Peyton Jewel & Jordyn Turner (womens double sculls) and Kate Morris (womens single sculls) for their success in the small boats section of the winter season that concluded last Saturday. Good luck now to all those competing in the big boats section over the next three weeks.

16.01.2022 Safety message to all members: no club singles tomorrow. Only experienced rowers in doubles or pairs. Preference is for big boats. Please use extreme caution due to outgoing water flows vs the tide and chance of debris. Please take care #safetyfirst #safetyisnoaccident

07.01.2022 Hi members, well email you with more details soon. In the meantime, we need to exercise even more vigilance: - stay home if you have symptoms or youre awaiting test results. - 100% stick to the roster. Arrive, row, leave. Especially large boat crews. - maintain your 1.5 metres and wash your hands and equipment. - individuals must each register in the book.... - and again, stay home if youre sick or awaiting results. Thanks for helping keep each other and our community safe. See more

05.01.2022 Members, friends and family - please be careful out there. 04.01.2022 Here's a nice little wrap up for the year from Rowing Australia. We also want to reiterate the messages in here to our club members, volunteers, Committee, family and friends, Rowing Qld, other Qld rowing clubs, our local community and even our local favourite coffee shop. 2020 has been quite a year. We've been fortunate to be able to maintain a strong club membership who've supported each other through the year. Thanks to Rowing Queensland and other local rowing clubs, we've... had opportunities to compete in some new racing formats on the River and at Wyaralong. Our thoughts have also been with our rowing colleagues around Australia and the world who have faced challenges from bushfires and COVID. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in 2020 and best wishes for a happy holiday season and a great 2021!

02.01.2022 And another indoor event: https://rowingaustralia.com.au/about-events/airc/
01.01.2022 Ten years ago today this was the scene from our shed. We watched our old pontoon float away and then worked really hard to clean out and repair our shed. Meanwhile many of our members, rowing friends and the local community were also horribly impacted. It took us the best part of 2011 to get back on our feet. Now we have a shiny new pontoon thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and members at the time. Thank you to everyone who helped us. #spiritof2011
