25.01.2022 Christmas party at Brisbane Petanque club on Sunday 01/12. Great day with good food, a mixed "melee" comp and sunshine of course... even a bit of rain was actually very well welcomed mid afternoon. Jean marc/Malcolm & Shane/Ross were the winners of the day with a special mention to Veronica to be the best pointer in the qualification rounds. And Happy birthday Tony MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

25.01.2022 Queensland Petanque in Newcastle last weekend for the Marcel Linares Memorial Challenge. As usual, a very well run comp and not to mention this year, a sunny weekend Good & mixed results. Everyone of us came back with a price Congratulations to Miguel & Stephane for reaching the final in the principal event. They finished second in a thrilling game. Francis & Mico reached the final complementaire and finish second... Guy & Pascal won the Social comp. Congratulations to the winner Tim & Sarry. Well done guys

25.01.2022 Hi All This weekend, 3 members of Petanque Clubs in Brisbane (jean Marc from DBPC and Stephane & Pascal from BPC) took part of the 2nd International Open Double at Caulfield Melbourne. 38 teams with players from NZ, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Cambodia and all States. Stephane reach the final in the complementaire comp, while Pascal & Jean Marc, with their team mates, reached the 1/4 in the main category. A great weekend well organized from the Caulfield Club team....well definitely be back.

21.01.2022 Great competition yesterday. Mixed double with good quality players. Winners are Jean Marc & Glen, both 5 wins out of 5 games. 16.01.2022 Gold Coast Sports Festival Mat 2019 More than 50 different Sports were on display. Even though the public attendance was low and with an allocated time frame of only 1 hour each day, we were able to attract a few bunch of people (locals & Interstate visitors) to play & share a few games and showcase Petanque in general.

09.01.2022 Hi All Just finishing a trip to New Caledonia where I played a comp there with 2 friends. A few numbers: single comp: 90 - Double comp: 200 - Triple comp: 130 - Mixed comp: 70 - 60 + pistes - 4 days comp - Meeting French & world champion,) Just good stuff.... I promoted a lot Brisbane (giving away heaps of business Card from the BPC) Getting ideas about Petanque and how to run a club. Lets work harder to make it happens in Brisbane... 04.01.2022 Sorry guys but if you missed our Christmas in July on Sunday, you missed a terrific day. Weather perfect as usual, and a record number of members (& non members) made this day very enjoyable. Thank you all for your presence, support and words of encouragement. 03.01.2022 Corporate event at the Brisbane Petanque Club. On Friday 28 of June we welcome SCOR (a french Insurance Cie) and 30 of their local clients. We organize food & drinks and entertain them showcasing our club and Petanque in general by playing a few games with them. A very fun and easy way to make money to improve our facility.
