25.01.2022 I was a bit slow getting out this morning to capture the glow that get as the sun is coming up on the buildings over on the right. At the right time they get a nice golden colour glow from the sun.
22.01.2022 Tonight's sunset which I nearly missed except decided to make a coffee at the right time and looking the other way from the sun saw some nice clouds. Taken with the Parrot Anafi Drone.

20.01.2022 The Majestic theatre at 3 Factory street, Pomona, Qld. I first saw this building when I drove trucks and had to make deliveries to a factory there. It was built... in 1921 and is promoted as the as the oldest authentic silent movie theatre in the world. From where I live, it is approximately a 4 hour round trip in drive time, I was determined to get a photo of it. smile emoticon:) Below is a link to the historical information page, hopefully it goes directly to it and available for those using phones etc. https://www.themajestictheatre.com.au/history/ Photo taken back in 2010. 19.01.2022 Moon shots with Canon Powershot SX540 HS, 215mm focal length for all 4 shots. 1st and 3rd photos at 1 x digital zoom, 2nd and 4th at approx 2 x digital zoom.

12.01.2022 Some more moon shots taken tonight with the Canon Powershot SX540 HS, 1st is at 215mm (1200mm on a 35mm) and with 4x digital zoom, f/8, 1/320, iso 80. 2nd using phone as a remote so limited to no digital zoom, f/8, 1/320, iso 80.

10.01.2022 When you find a old 35mm film camera you thought had gone missing around 20 years ago. Haven't got around to start cleaning it and all the lenses as yet, after ...having to sell my DSLR about a year ago, finding this old girl has made me so happy. Once I get it all cleaned and a new battery etc for it will scan and upload some photos from it. See more
09.01.2022 A rescan of a photo that posted in a photography group, wasn't quite happy with first scan, though at first glance there isn't much difference. The photo was ta...ken at a motorcycle show in the mid to late 1980's, and is of a couple that was at the show. I am posting both the B&W and colour scans of the image.Hard to tell but this lady had the most amazing and expressive eyes of a stranger I had met at any of the shows I went to. See more

05.01.2022 Finally got to pick up first 35mm film, a couple of the photos from various tests I did with it. First was a test of autofocus and dof at a close range, 2nd ima...ge was a test to see how photographing the paintings my dad did will work out. 3rd is a very old dead gum tree that is protected and can't be cut down, 4th from when I was chasing bees, 5th from the night did a comparisonbetween phone, digital camera and 2 35mm film cameras, last one of my Minolta X-300 in my camera bag.
