Food waste is turned into liquid fertilizer and sent to farmers to use as soil additives Paper waste is turned into liquid and used for composting No more garbage bags (savings of up to $700 per annum) as food and paper waste is placed straight in the pulpmaster. Savings of up to $1800 per annum in tray waste recycling and removal from site costs OH&S staff now empty a 8kg bin against a 25kg bin into the Pulpmaster Well done to our food services manager and his team for their resourcefulness and for the installation of a great enterprise!

04.01.2022 We recently received this story from our patients parents: Thank you so much for all the wonderful care you have given our son who had a adenoid tonsillectomy recently. One of the nurses on B floor (Mick) noticed our son had a Radar bear (from the TV show MASH) which has been in our family for around 39 years. Mick spoke to our son about his own "Radar" bear which is his "mascot". The next day, Mick bought in his Radar bear to show our son and to our surprise, they were the exact same bear. Our son is now talking about passing his Radar down to his grandchildren when he is older so that they also have a Radar mascot to help them in times when comfort is needed. Thank you again for looking after our son and to Mick from B floor for sharing his Radar bear story.
