24.01.2022 Post Christmas match 2 summary for BSK Rising Stars by Arun. After loosing the toss and batting first under the captain Harry and VC Yash RS made 76 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Openers Dhanraj and Fateh as usual gave the team a steady start. Even though the conditions were not favourable for batting with wet outfield and heavy grass cover the RS played watchful cricket. Runs were hard to come by but the middle order ensured that quick singles and doubles were taken wit...hout taking much risk. The points to improve from batting were stealing singles, calling for runs, and judging the ball. The second innings showed the grit and determination of RS. Bowling was clinical and showed a lot of character. Best of the lot was Abin 3 wickets Dhanraj and Harry 2 wickets. Yogith and Fateh pitched in with a wicket each. Vihan and Yogith was consistent behind the wickets. Fielding showed great application by RS. Return catches by Abin on his own bowling, stunner from Yogith, Ayush were the highlights. We took 10 opposition wickets including runsouts thus winning the match by 51 runs. A few areas where we could improve are minimising extras while fielding. See more

20.01.2022 Match Summary -5 (7th November 2020), Stage 1 Rising Stars vs SLC by Mandeep Singh Lamba Going into the match, under the leadership of Fateh(C) and Harry (VC), Rising stars had a different thought process, the teams batting/bowling was abysmal and they mortified the opposition leaving them baffled in the end. Rising stars started the game with batting first and posting a score of 112 with loosing 10 wickets in 20 overs. The opposition team scored 82 runs and loosing 8 wicket...s in 20 overs. A mammoth win by the Rising Stars, winning the match by 22 runs. Congratulations to the team in a unceremonious way. Score card Dhaanraajveer 25 runs (5 fours) (out twice), 3 Runouts. Fateh 6 runs (Out Once) Kirat 9 runs (Out Once), took 2 wickets Aviraj 3 runs (Out Once) Sachin 9 runs (Out Twice) Harry 9 runs (Not out), took 2 wickets Yash 12 runs (Out Twice), Took 1 wicket Captain- Fateh , Vice-Captain Harry Wicket Keepers Fateh & Yash Batting Summary: Dhaanraajveer and Fateh went to open the batting, with both pilling up in total of 44 runs for the opening partnership stand with Dhaanraajveer hitting 5 exquisite fours , and Fateh giving a good stand by middling the opposition deliveries well. Kirat and Aviraj adding up another 30 runs for their partnership stand. Finally, Sachin, Harry and Yash’s magnificent stand astonished all the spectators, taking the score tally to 112 for the loss of 10 wickets. Bowling Summary: It was an uphill task for the opposition from the very first over, effortless bowling by Kirat and astounding fielding by Dhaanraajver produced four wickets in the first 5 overs. Controlled line and length bowling did put a lot of pressure on the opposition batsmen, and by the end of 10th over opposition was reeling at 35 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. The opposition team was mortified, but the lower order batsmen of the opposition came back strongly in the second part of their innings. With good presence of mind bowling by Sachin, Harry and Aviraj and support from the wicketkeepers like Yash and Fateh the opposition were reduced to 82 by the end of 20th over. A blinding performance by the Stars, a tale that is hard to put in words. Notes: Brilliant and radiant performance by the kids showing such a great level of maturity and teamwork, intense fielding and dazzling batting won the match for Rising Stars. The fire in the eyes of the stars seemed vindictive, and it would be wrong if I don’t mention that they played like true champions. MOM Dhaanraajveer

16.01.2022 Match summary from BSK Rising stars Manager Mandeep Singh Lamba MSW stage 1 Rising Star's match 1 against UQ Renegades- Match Summary Score card... 1. Kirat scored 11 runs and 1 wicket. 2. Aviraj scored 8 runs 3. Sachin scored 6 runs 4. Ayush scored 7 runs 5. Ishaan scored 1 run and 1 wicket 6. Fateh scored 21 runs 7. Dhaanraajveer scored 17 runs and 2 wickets. BSK Rising Star's batted first and posted 115 in 20 over and we Lost by 4 runs. Captain Dhaanraajveer and Vice Captain Sachin, wicket Keeper Ayush. Batting Side :- Dhaanraajveer and Fateh started the innings well with early boundaries and gave a stable start but later with middle order grinding and focusing on not loosing wickets the run rate slowed down, which needed some good running between the wickets from Ishaan and Aviraj. Ayush and Sachin had a good stand and finally Kirat played some fantastic shots to boost the score. Dhaanraajveer and Fateh in the end contributed to taking the score to 115 with great display of talent and guts. The team did fantastic to post a great score, but I believe they could have got some 10 more runs with the way they were batting. The best thing is that we did not loose a single wicket. Outstanding display by the our young guns. Bowling side:- Kirat’s first ball got us the wicket, hich raised the standards very high, but on the other end a guy who did not seem to be that young, smakced our bowlers all over, and we leaked 95 runs in the first ten over, but the second half was fantastic with the Rising Star's coming back strongly to almost winning the game. Three wickets fell in the last ten overs taking the UQ Renegades score to 135, with four wickets falling. Each wicket required 4 runs to be reduced from the total of UQ , So in totality 16 runs were reduced from the UQ total so they ended up on 119. Dhaanraajveer almost brought us close to victory by taking 2 back to back wickets by hitting the middle stump twice, and Ishaan took one wicket which was amazing. Ishaan taking the crucial wicket Followed by some great bowling by Kirat, Sachin, Fateh. Bowling department did the job wonderfully just that we need to be more focused in the first 10 overs. Fielding Side:- @Sachin was the Jonty Rhodes on field today stoping boundries followed by great wicket keeping, from Ayush, Fateh and Dhaanraajveer. The guys do need to work on catching as catches win matches. Notes:- I think the team played like Champions and I see all the kids really doing very good in the future. A win for these talented kids is just round the corner. Keep up the good work up guys as we still have a long way to go with playing against all the quality teams . Things to remember:- Guys we really need to work on our Running between the wickets, taking catches and motivating kids that they are doing good and support every child in the group. Lastly Congrats team for a good fighting match

08.01.2022 Dear All, It is with the immense delightfulness to announce that our new committee and I are here to serve one of the most rapidly developing Multicultural Cricket club in Australia. I believe this is a fantastic club, where everyone is treated fairly, respectfully and where a sense of fun & enjoyment is always with us. The passionate volunteers underpin so much of what happens in grassroots sport and it’s no different in our BSK cricket club as well. A lot of hard work was ...done by our Founder of BSK Mr Sathish and together we will make it a regat place for training our next generation cricketers and our all time favourite and passionate adult cricketers. We are in the transition mode and we have requested Mr Sathish to help us for the next few months. We are now emerging as the strongest Community based non-first class cricket T20 competition organised by any voluntary organisations in Australia. Our initial focus will be in the awards ceremony on 13th Dec 2020. With more details to follow from your immediate team managers. We need your fullest co-operation to make it a Grand success. This year we will look to see our juniors developing both their cricket and love of the game as we also hope to see the senior sides develop the winning consistency. I keep my fingers crossed to see success on the field this season in order to keep the players buoyant and committed. We are trying to build the club and are aware that partners are often non cricketers, however they are embedded with immense passion for Cricket. Ayyapann Kaaliidos President BSK Cricket club
