24.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Firstly, Rugby League Ipswich would like to thank our community for their patience and understanding of the Return to Play in 2020. We are working hard with QRL and clubs on the best way to get rugby league back in Ipswich. It is within the best interest of our community to look at all options. The QRL Board are meeting on Friday to approve the QRL Return to Play Guidelines. Once approved, clubs will receive the document for the first time. The QRL Return to ...Play Guidelines will present a greater understanding of the protocols for our league and club volunteers to adhere by it. Consultation between clubs, referee’s association, and the league will occur prior to any decision being made. We ask our players, parents, guardians, followers and our community to please be patient and stay safe throughout these difficult times.

08.01.2022 A quick update as to what is going on with the return to Rugby League process. The RLI committee and all club presidents are viewing a draft return to play document set by QRL tonight that is yet to be approved for release. Once released in this coming week, the clubs can go away and make decisions based on the criteria of this document. All stake holders including sponsors and parents keep an eye on updates in the coming weeks. As a club, we will have to make some decisions for the future and wellbeing of all involved and we would like to include as many members as possible in the decisions being made.
