19.01.2022 We visited Mulloon Creek Natural Farms near Bungendore in NSW to see regenerative land management practices and drought-proofing innovations in action. The two ...certified organic farms are operated by the @Mulloon Institute an internationally recognised not-for-profit organisation which operates as both a productive farming venture and a working demonstration site for regenerative land management. Mulloon Institute Chairman Gary Nairn is passionate about the impact rehydration can have on agricultural land. It’s really the basis of improving your soil health and being able to protect against those dry periods. You’ve got to work before you get some rain, it’s about making the most of when the water does come... In Australia you can never absolutely drought-proof but you can make agricultural land so much more resilient and get through those dry periods, Gary said. Coordinator-General Shane Stone said the Mulloon Institute is to be commended for its impressive work. We can rehydrate land with some very simple practices and we can better manage Australia’s agriculture estate, and we can do that on the back of the learnings from the Mulloon Institute, Shane said. Their Excellencies, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, General the Honourable David Hurley and Mrs Linda Hurley recently had a tour of the Institute. It lives in northern and eastern Australia. Green Tree Snakes have no fangs and no venom. They are very reluctant to bite and would rather slither away.

03.01.2022 Supermoon A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigeethe closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbitresulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as viewed from Earth. The technical name is a perigee syzygy (of the EarthMoonSun system) or a full (or new) Moon around perigee. The term supermoon is astrological in origin and has no precise astronomical definition.
